I am visiting a new doctor this week.
Been on TRT since 1st July.
SHBG consistently high 60-90…
Starting bloods:
SHBG 84 (17-56)
Total T 22.2 (12-29)
Estradiol 84 (95-233)
Current protocol 50mg enanthate e3.5d
HCG 500iu e3.5d
Latest bloods were taken 1st Aug.
SHBG 65 (17-56)
Total T 41.5 (12-29)
Estradiol 159 (95-233)
Now 17th September, still feeling pretty much the same, albeit slight increase in morning wood and libido. I am feeling no high estrogen side effects whatsoever.
Question is - what in your opinions would be the ideal protocol?
From what i’ve read 200mg e7d with 200iu HCG eod.
Also i’m confused by estrogen and SHBG. Believe higher estrogen elevates SHBG - how does this work?
You should have gotten Free T tested, it’s the only way to know if your dosing is right for you. It’s very likely you are underdosed, some high SHBG men need Total T well above ranges to have enough Free T.
Insurance doctors will not allow supraphysiological doses of testosterone because they are handicapped by guidelines, then you would need to go private.
An AI will likely be needed as E2 is already up there.
Hi System
This was a non sensitive test. Not sure how much of a difference this makes?
I drink walm lemon water every morning and take calcium d glucarate daily.
I feel no high e2 symptoms!
Would I be better to look at lowering SHBG with low dose Anavar rather than increasing Total T (plus all of the negatives such as estrogen etc etc)?
