Help with My Situation?

I take daily vitamin D maybe every week total of 50,000 iu you can a test in any lab

Your calcium is fine, you don’t need to worry about it. I had a very rare and specific problem, the point was that there are a million things that cause nausea and you may never know what is causing it at any specific time.

I’m sure that it’s a nice article. There is no one constant about these things. I, personally, cannot take vitamin D in supplement form of any kind - it makes me feel unbelievably awful. I get it from the sun or I don’t get it. You may be reacting to something that no one else reacts to, and you may never figure it out, and it’s probably just a temporary problem.

found my recent bloods calcium does indeed seem to be ok, ive been feeling like this for some 19 months now thats the problem havent found anything so far

How is your blood pressure? Are you usually dehydrated? So you get dizzy easily? What are you eating, and drinking?

they checked my blood pressure during an exercise ecg and all seemed to come back ok, it was also checked sitting, standing and then again after standing for a few mins, again all seemed to be ok

i drink around 1.5l of water a day, fairly clean diet tho most mornings i cant manage breakfast due to feeling so ill

ive read some things about people being primary or secondary… do i fall into either catagory?

You are secondary, which means the problem is in your pituitary. But you are not hypogonadal, just suboptimal.

So, what are you doing? it is likely secondary, but either way the treatment is the same. Are you going to start treatment or just moan about how lousy you feel?

i contacted optimale with regards to trt, £150 for a first consultation, then aprox £89.99 a month for meds, blood tests and any additional meds are extra as are injecting supplies, this is not something i think i could afford, would it be something i could do myself and if so how long before i would need fresh labs etc?

with numbers that low you ought to be covered by NHS. Yes, you could certainly do it yourself though, just don’t know about supply for you.

i had those bloods done by the endo dept of my local hospital, the consultant said everything was within ranges but admitted i was low but said in his opinion this wasnt what was causing my symptoms and discharged me, that was end of last month

He’s an idiot.

would the feelings of nausea etc be due to the low test then?

im in northern ireland

hardartery what made you say i have a thyroid problem is there something in the bloods im missing?

I posted that in the wrong thread by accident, that’s why I withdrew it. Your thyroid numbers are unbelievably good.

This is how sick care manages health, within range is normal and no more thought is put into it, your levels are below average for men in your age group, is it not too much of a stretch of the imagination that you could actually be experiencing low testosterone with levels in the low normal ranges.

The NHS is underfunded and cannot afford lifelong treatments such as TRT and the doctors full well know it and only reserved treatment for the worst cases. Sick care prefers to not take action until the acute phase.
