Help with My Bloodwork? Hormones Appear Out of Whack

Just a suggestion regarding meditation. I’m a big fan. I believe breathwork during meditation can play a big role in its efficacy. There is a book by Dan Brule’ on breathwork called Just Breathe that has a good rule to follow - meditate/breathe 2 for 10 and 10 for 2. Focus on controlled breathing twice a day for ten minutes (2 for 10) in the morning and before bed, and ten times a day for two minutes (10 for 2).

I believe this can help with Cortisol levels. Obvs, it appears that you may have thyroid issues, but this may help as well.

I don’T believe things “suddenly” change for no reason. At times like this, it’s good to get labwork to assess why you feel this way; certainly something will be off. I also do this when I’m feeling great too, so when I switch things up (as I often do) I know what to come back to.

As someone that suffers from anxiety and is able to barely self-manage, every symptom you described could be contributed to anxiety (and I’ve personally experienced all of them) and you should start by trying to get that under control. @Andrewgen_Receptors is spot on. Therapy, meditation, lifestyle changes, and, if need be, medication for anxiety would be a good first move.

Unfortunately, anxiety is not corrected overnight. It takes a lot of work and collaboration with a decent doctor to get it under control. I’ve dealt with it my entire life and have worked to handle it on my own for 15 years, just starting to reign it in in my late 20’s. It still flares up and affects my quality of life from time to time - sometimes because of external factors, but sometimes because of internal factors - but with time you learn to break out of it more effectively.

Best of luck to you :metal:

Thanks alot The_Myth!

I Will try to get ahold of this books and try this breath work aswell  I used to do something called box breathing? Which is a tactic often used by soldiers to help them stay calm and heart rate lowered during high stress and it helpes me with anxiety attacks so I have high hopes with this!

Thank you for this message, really appricate it… I’ll try my best to reduce stress and getting referred to therapy from now on and also cut out/low contact toxic people that might be contributing to that which is hard at times (family members) sending good vibes and positivity your way brother :raised_back_of_hand:t5:

That’s a good plan. If your doc or therapist thinks a short stint on medication will help don’t be afraid to go with it. Sending good vibes right back at you man :metal:

Neither do I but I do believe something in my body is out of wack and at the moment this points to Adrenals Prolactin and expecially thyroid which used to be between 1.0 and 1.3 TSH according to my previous lab results (this was when I was overall feeling healthy) so will have those checked asap.

I will definitely keep that option open if it comes to that!
