Update was able to get some bloods done that included SHBG and bioavalable. As you can see from my original post my total and estrogen seem to be improving and my TSH has went down but the rest im not sure on. If anyone can help digest the results? I still have the original symptoms, and have been taking BPC157 the past week to help shoulder pain which it has a bit and gave me a bit better sleep.
Hey everyone. Im 34 and Im sort of lost for help, ive been struggling for a few years now with some symptoms that are similar to low T/hypothyroid.Main symptoms being zero motivation to do anything but work and gym. Nearly zero libido , like if its been a week ill have sex with the missus for her sake. I cant even get fully hard, then itll be a few days to recover and if i even smell an alcohlic drink hes not even twitching (up till i was 27 i could go all night long, over and over again) so this is definitely an issue. Can fall asleep but not refreshed, joint pain and depression not suicidal but just dont get joy from things anymore.the Drs here are useless, tell them i struggle to sleep get prescibed anxiety pills, tell them im struggling in the bedroom ,prescribed viagra. I got some private bloodwork done from science and humans a trt chop shop and i got tsh free t3 and t4 done by the gp after asking a load of times can anyone have look at them as see whats what and any advice? Ive been reading these forums for the last couple years. If anyone thinks i need to read more and delete this , just let me know cheers
The low estrogen stands out, which is usually low alongside Free T, which you didn’t test. At 11.4 pg/mL you’re looking at osteoporosis if spent long term at these levels, because estrogen is responsible for bone remodeling and bone mineral metabolism.
The majority of our estrogen comes from the conversion of Free T, so when Free T is low, usually E2 is also low.
You didn’t test the SHBG, which binds 98% of your testosterone, if you did check the SHBG, you could calculate the Free T.
I’m going to wager that your SHBG is on the higher end and Free T on the lower end.
Testosterone deficiency is not defined by Total T, so checking Total T without checking the Free T or at least SHBG, is a big blunder and a waste of your time.
Thanks for your reply. Yea ive been reading all over this forum and seen that estrogen that low is bad. I was trying see if it was something else causing it but seems to be straight forward, ive not enough Testosterone to aromatise. What confuses me is im in great shape, at 5’9 169lbs i push myself to gym at least 4 times a week and i eat a load of good food. Here’s the thing about the estrogen, the chop shop trt clinic i contacted said my levels were low normal and since i dont have kids and im young enough to not go on trt but instead recommended hcg montherapy and her words ‘since you got such low estrogen you wont need to worry about it getting to high from the hcg’ once she said that i was like shes not even addressing why its so low these people cant be good at their job. This is the 3rd time ive had bloods done here in BC each time i tried to get free T and SHBG tested, they said they would but once i got my results they didnt do it, turns out the governent here say if your total T is in ‘range’ they wont waste their own time even testing the other two. Im back in the uk for a holiday and see i can easily get the needed bloods done at ease but ill be back here and it seems the only people who offer trt and overpriced ans apparently useless but if i was to self medicate i cant even get the proper bloods done when im back here. Man its a struggle.
A few things, yes get the tests back in the UK Medichecks private tests are quick, easy and not overly expensive.
How are your stress levels? This:
Could describe me at various points, but most of the time I’d be lying if I said I wanted to even do those things. I’d guess mine is part stress related, but I notice the over use of screens (particularly phones) has a deleterious effect on drive, focus and energy - and I’m on TRT.
Finally I’d definitely edit your post to remove all your personal details!

Thats for the reply. Ill prpbably delete this post shortly and reevaluate after i can get the proper bloods done. Oh yeah stress definitely goes hand in a hand at this stage, bit of a vicious circle.
Your post might actually help some else in the same boat as you.
