Hello,
I am 33 years old, 1,88 m, 95 kg and have been having low libido and mild ED for one year now. My blood results look somehow weird but everything is in the “normal” range. Didn’t start TRT yet.
I’m not entirely familiar with some markers like FAI, but looking at what appears to be your total testosterone and your shbg, your free testosterone is almost certainly low since shbg when high, will bind your free testosterone, as will albumin to a degree. It would be helpful to get your free testosterone checked if that’s not what FAL is. Seeing your RT3 may be helpful as well to see how stressed you are. Stress is the libido killer
Keep in mind that libido and erections are tricky and often the result of more than just hormones alone. That being said, you increase your odds if you get your hormones optimized.
I am sure that I am stressed, can’t relax and can’t sleep properly. Just don’t know the reason…
You’re 33 with a low libido and the beginnings of ED. Given those symptoms and these lab results, TRT is an option for you.
Your total testosterone is at the low end of the “normal” range. Your SHBG is in the upper end of normal. With that, you’re going to have less free testosterone, which is indicated by your below normal free androgen index.
Given there is nothing else going on, which your doctor should be able to determine, you look like a perfect candidate for TRT.
Good luck going forward.
Low-T is the reason as your free hormones are quite low.
Sure you hormones are in the normal range, for an elderly man, not a young 33 year old.
