nah, after i did my bloodwork some markers were so bad i was like im not making any gains + my bloodwork is fucked up so fuck this let me get down to 250 instead of 500 until i figure this out.

i literally look the exact same as in the original post, i dont mind posting a recent pic but since the lighting isnt gonna be the same (i’ve moved since) im not sure if it would be helpful at all.
Okay so I’m going to guess that you put on water weight, most likely due to estrogen.
I started TRT at 182mg/wk (26mg/day) and watched the scale climb from 217-227 in like 2 weeks… I was in a deficit. Fast forward a couple months and I look bigger, leaner, and weigh more. Only thing that changed was starting TRT > Estrogen > water weight.
so what would you suggest? my caloric intake has progressively gone up and i was already force-feeding before. it could be that i’m doing everything right and my genetic response to gear is just that atrocious but i wanna make sure i’ve looked at all options before giving up.

Well, 1st thing is that you were pretty big to begin with so 500mgs of test wouldnt do too much. You were bigger than most people would ever be on much bigger doses and doses depend on bodyweight and muscle mass.
Another thing is that at your height, gaining, lets say, half and inch to your arms, wouldnt be to noticable but that would be a huge increase. So unless you do measurements, you cant say for sure.
One thing is sure - 500mgs for someone who is 112kgs already, wouldnt do anything noticable. 500-1000mgs of shit would bring someone from 90 to 100kgs. Maybe a bit over.
99% of people here will never reach 112kgs. 99% in the gyms all across the world will never reach 112kgs on no matter what doses.
Your dose response is not weird. Its just logical. I was on around 1,2-2,0 grams of steroids for some 2-3 years to get myself from 103kgs to like 122kgs and then lean down to good looking 110kgs. But as you can guess, the total gain of like 7 lean kilos of muscle, is not a “holy fucking shit he is big” difference. Its like an inch to the arms, and clothes are a bit tighter, but i still use same hole in my belt. If i wouldnt measure stuff id say i dont look different also.
But since i measure myself and i take lots of progress pics, i can actually see the difference. Anyways, it wont be such difference you would go “OMFG”. And you are on 500mgs… its a dose some 18 year olds that weigh 80kgs take.
Strength and size comes mostly from training for it. Calisthenics do not produce massive men. Calisthenics produce lean, athletic guys below 100kgs.
What you need is a proper training, not that hanging monkey BS, if you care to maximize size and STRENGTH.
Try switching to delts, lats or quads then.
Or if u use IM needle, maybe try some bigger insulin ones.
But it can also just be gear itself, try different esters or different brand.
appreciate the detailed reply, i guess that makes sense. i was training with weights heavy with alot of volume up until mid-august so the calisthenics switch is very recent and not permanent.
this might make you laugh but the main reason i felt my results were unsatisfactory is that i compare myself to big guys that are my height, and in my case the guys i look at the most are nfl tight ends. again this might sound ridiculous but i look at them like hey they’re tall like me, some even more, and jacked as fuck, so why cant i do it. they’re in the NFL because they have top-tier athletic gifts, not necessarily IFBB pro muscle-building genetics.
i look at guys like OJ Howard or Joey Bosa and i’m like why cant i look even close to that despite all the shit im doing. i know genetics might play a big role but i also hate limiting myself or creating excuses with uncontrollable x factors such as genes.

You are bigger than OJ Howard and around same size, but bigger arms as Joey Bosa.
Idk, i look at their pics and i just dont see it how those 2 are any bigger than you. Going by the pic you uploaded, i would have always tought you are much bigger.
And height/weight stats back me up also. OJ is 110kgs. You are much bigger than he is.
And if we look at it this way, i am also very sure pro NFL stars dont take just 500mgs of test. They might take 500mgs when they go for a vacation.
In order for a guy to move 120kgs well and explosive, he is definetly on more test, tons of HGH, probably some orals, sarms, halo maybe.
Not bodybuilder doses, but definetly not 500mgs. If a bodybuilder would take even up to 5 grams of shit, along with GH, and you take 500mgs, i think the pro athletes are closer to 1,5-2 grams for sure.
And you are the same size, taking 500mgs. I think you win this competition, man.
i think it must be the angles of the pics i’m taking, cuz i definitely feel like i’m a twig compared to those guys lol + also nowhere near the same strength. either that or i’ve allowed myself to lose my mind completely and lose sight of reality, which is absolutely a possibility considering how often this happens in this fitness space. in any cas your input is much appreciated thanks for the feedback.
i gotta say though, despite the valid points you’ve made this experience has been pretty underwhelming so far lol i kept reading people say your first cycle is gonna be like hitting puberty all over again, making crazy gains the first 2-3 months, crazy fast recovery etc. and i literally haven’t experienced any of that, only difference is weight going up that’s only noticeable on scale, sex drive through the roof and shitty bloodwork lol
That’s because most people who say that are starting way too soon, are undertrained, under developed, and probably are like 75kgs. There is a huge difference between a skinny fuck blasting steroids the second month he has a gym membership, and a 6’6 monster of 110kgs taking the SAME dose. The problem is in the dosage and weight. No one who is above 100kgs with some good muscle and athletic experience wouldnt notice much on 500mgs of test.
Thats the problem with the internet. People who say stuff are mostly anonymous and have nothing to show for their “knowledge”, so we get a lot of misleading info. Most people who say what you mentioned, will not be your size even after 10 cycles of any dosages.
yeah that makes sense, i definitely have noticed alot of people describing their first time using almost never were people who were putting in work 5-6 years with diet on point etc.
