Personally, I own an reg cab loaded 04 ram. I really like the truck. But it has depreciated about $4k a year since I purchased it. payed 16k two yrs ago. went looking this summer, couldn’t get an offer over 8k.Decided to keep it and pay it off, $200 payments ain’t to bad. That is something to consider when you purchase.
My vote would be for a 4 door/ext cab Tacoma, resale is huge and they are really nice trucks. My friend has one and its really comfortable. If you get a full size pay DIRT cheap for it, cuz it will lose all its value immediately. Good luck
