Help Interpreting Total T & Free T Ranges (VA Medical Care)

I think you are exactly right

I was pretty frustrated after my consultation yesterday, but after a long time spent reading and thinking 8-10weeks of enclomid and HCG doesn’t seem so bad that I would want to give up pursuing treatment entirely. Sure it’s expensive, but hopefully I’ll experience some symptom relief and if not then I suppose perhaps I am Primary hypogonadal and not secondary. LH/FSH labwork could determine that for me but my primary care provider refuses to do the labwork after my total T and free t came back at the low end of normal range.

Also thanks for all the responses. It’s good to hear from others on this issue.

The HCG will shut your HPTA down, not standard protocol for someone attempting restore natural HPTA functionality.

Normally it’s clomid in isolation, stop and then see where you land. Most of the time it’s futile.
