Thanks for all the help and comments. I’ve booked into see a male hormone specialist Monday afternoon. Will update here if things progress. Thanks again
Albumin… also pertains significance here, his free T isn’t through the floor. Thus the notion that he has highlighted symptomatology that is widely correlated with many potential variables other than T makes one skeptical. Not saying low T isn’t partially the culprit, but to blame everything on that, dictate “he needs TRT now” is extreme, he needs an evaluation from a legitimate and (qualified) medical professional well versed within regard to the field of male andrology
Just back from the doctors. I was told when I booked the male hormone clinic is will cost me $500 with no doctor referral. So I decided to give a different doctor a try. She looked over my results and said they were totally fine. Says I have depression, Not sure where to go from here.
I’m worried now if I did pay for the male hormone clinic he would say the same thing making the expenditure a complete waste.
Your levels are not normal, your doctor is wrong. Depression is a symptom of low testosterone. You need to understand a lot of doctors think in range is normal, but it’s not and doctors are just not very knowledgeable on the subject of testosterone.
The quality of like between a guy making $15 and hour and $100 and and hour, the quality of life is unequal, the same can be said for Free T, there’s no way that the quality of life will be equal between a guy with Free T at the bottom of the ranges and a guy at the top of the ranges.
The guy with Free T at the top will not only have a higher quality of life, he will be discharge from hospitals faster because he will recover faster than someone with Free T on the bottom the ranges as studies have shown.
Thanks system lord. That first document is the exact reason why I came on this forum. I am a firm believer that if I trace the problem back to its source it will nullify most if not all the symptoms. Doctors here in Australia seem to want to just “patch up” the problems. My brother who is a doctor said the doctors here are very very reluctant to go down this route of testosterone issues. Probably because as you say they are not fully versed on hormone issues. Thanks again. Might just have to look at alternative arrangements
No wonder you are running into such resistance, Australia is the anti-TRT capital of the world, too many doctors are afraid of the government coming down hard on them for prescribing TRT that most doctors aren’t willing to stick their neck out for you.
Adrian Zentner visits two different clinics in Perth, Brisbane and in Melbourne, he is good but not cheap.
Got any other labs? Calcium, Vit D, Iron, Ferritin, B-12? What do you eat? Exercise? What’s your job?
That was my next thinking. Go and get these checked out. I exercise regularly gym, heavy weights and cardio mainly running. Pretty fit. I work in the oil and gas industry mainly offshore with some onshore refinery work
So not sedentary, but heavy chemical exposure at times. Could be a lot of things.
They’re not wrong either, our government is draconian regarding attempting to monitor people’s every single move
Australia was once a chill place, where you could come to relax, now it’s like a lump of coal has been stuck up the ass of every government official, member of law enforcement etc… it’s not the same as it used to be, we seriously are the laughing stock of the developed (first) world at the moment in terms of how many nanny state regulations we have
Things will change back though, there’s already starting to be a shift of paradigm with our current youth rebelling, throwing protests etc. When the liberals are voted out next election I presume things will start to turn out for the better. The lockout laws in Sydney are currently being revoked, Canberra has somehow managed to pass a bill legalising cannabis, Queensland is easing up on scanning the ID’s of patrons, restrictions for P plated drivers (Regarding vehicles that are accepted at ages 18-22) have been loosened etc… we are heading back in the right direction. Complete anarchy isn’t the right solution, but requiring a permit to have a fucking picnic… come on
Booked in Friday afternoon to see doctor Zentner. He is over half the price of the other guy so thanks very much for the recommendation.
Seriously?
Given the above, it is normal to be depressed.
There you have it. The cause is not a decline of serum Zoloft levels in your body. Good luck moving forward.
Yes, I think it’s actually enforced in NSW (the worst of them all), look up the conduct going on by the NSW Police force at music festivals (music festivals have actually been pulling out of NSW, and some are threatening to pull out of Aus entirely)… there’s a war on festivals at the moment, and the public is becoming increasingly pissed off… it won’t work out in the governments favour. For whatever reason they’re trying really hard to cling onto this uber conservative ideology, trying to police these events en mass and arrest/intimidate the youth as much as possible. The NSW Police force, I hate them with such a passion…
I don’t like Aussie cops in general, but in my state they seem to be somewhat more chilled out than in NSW (been to NSW, have seen the cops walking around the city with tons of sniffer dogs, looking to catch anyone with anything), then you’ve got the corruption in which they’ll force a dog to sit in order to search anyone (based on racial profiling typically), and they won’t just search you… they’ll strip search you (illegally)
Shit like this
Is the norm for Sydney, it’s unique to NSW and only NSW… however all states have draconian regulations, harsh penalties for minor offences etc, one of the main reasons I want out of Aus, it’ll change, revert back to how things were… but not for another 10-15 years
Just wanted to thank everyone on here for your assistance. Systemlord thanks for the recommendation of Doc Z. Got my prescription last night. I have posted a few questions about the protocol in the Facebook TRT and hormone optimisation page for those that are on their. ( Kev shaw).
