Help for a New Guy

hi guys ive been reading around for awhile but never post. i live in Las Vegas and collaborate with some of the best physicians here, id know im a pre med myself. but at 28 going on 29 this july i got a free and total done in 11/13. it resulted in a total of 125 and a free of 13.8. yes 28yo male active about 180 with those levels… since then as a cash patient ive spent THOUSANDS since november.

i take a lot of medication the most important being methadone and xanax. original reason i went to see my uro is i was having nocturia 2-3x. he shruged it off and said i was way to young to have “low t” but of course he would test to reassure. hope he liked the 125 total the idiot. since then ive had much better specialists look at me the only thing i lack i some of the more expensive blood work. here is my blood work from 11/13

Well i did feel better  it took a good 2 months but then it kicked in! BTW i use 250 iu HCG 2 days before shot day. as well as anastrozole 1mg EOD.

2/10/14 labs

dropped dose to 100mg test cyp every week… added magnesium and zinc to my diet. WHY IS MY ESTRADIOL SO HIGH im gulping down anastrozole! my new blood work will be done in about a month. my doc told me to totally stop my test shots. since i self inject i talked to my compounded pharmasist and he said NO lower to 100mg’s a week. i trusted him and went with his advice. whats your advice? im not building muscle! im in the gym every day and i cant burn fat. i am losing weight just very slow.not building muscle so much i almost wanna run stanozolol for a pre summer cut. PS i have NEVER done steroids before.lso carrying a lot of weigh in my chest… I’ve always been very hairy, Italian. Waist 36in. i also take GNC mega men. Magnesium malanate 1000mg’s a day and zinc 100mg’s a day

Lowering your dose to 100mg a week will lower your free T and bring down your high RBC hemoglobin, hematocrit, and Estradiol. A good thing. You sure your anastrozole pills are 1mg? At 1mg EOD your Estradiol should be in the dirt and you would feel like crap. You say you take lot of medication and that affects Estradiol clearance via the liver. If your overweight that can increase your T to E2 conversion. How high is your hemoglobin and hematocrit? Do you inject once a week?

Building muscle or weight lose has more to do with calorie/protein intake than anything else. Sure working out and having higher Testosterone/Thyroid levels helps in these departments but with out the right diet/number of calories your just going to be spinning your wheels.

Yes they are 1mg I’m positive , I’m about 190 6’0 . And yes i inject once a week… Would another AI like nolvadex be better?

RBC 6.04 4.20-5.80
Hemoglobin 17.7 13.2-17.1
Hematocrit 54.1. 38.5-50.0

No i would’t switch AI’s. If that one is working for you at that dosage and the blood tests confirm it then i wouldn’t change it.

But it’s not… I’m taking it that much and my e2 went from 31 to 34. I wanna be at like a 15. My test to e2 ratio is shit! Does anyone take 1mg ED on anastrozole? All of my meds are from the pharmacy so I’m very sure they are 1mg pills

First you can’t really tell much without ranges with your numbers but for sure your hematocrit is high and your liver function looks high. Was your E2 test ultrasensitive? Looks like you may want to go through the stickies. As far as anastrozole he probably meant was it real because if your taking that much it should be tanked which if your test was ultrasensitive then it is a lot lower.

I don’t know if it was ultra sensitive where would that be on my blood work. Sorry ill edit and put the ranges in tonight

Life Extension Foundations recommends that ideal ranges for estradiol for most aging men are between 20 and 30 pg/mL of blood.

I know the quest diagnostics Estradiol, Sensitive test is not recommended for for men.

Your Hematocrit is over range. Most doctors will pull you off test for awhile at that level or have you do a Therapeutic Phlebotomy and reduce your dosage of test to bring it down. You want to keep your Hematocrit and hemoglobin in range because at high levels the blood becomes very viscous or “sticky,” making it harder for the heart to pump. High blood pressure, strokes and heart attacks can occur.

well one of my doctors did want to discontinue my TRT for a month but my other doc whom i trust more said to go to 100-125mg’s a week and thats what i did. It was not a ultra sensitive estradiol test. Any suggestions from anyone on here who may have more insight then me?? I felt horrible at my first levels and now at 1333 i fell like i could almost go more in my opinion… Its the free of 422.8 that worries me a bit… advice anyone? luckily my erections and all that stuff have always been normal function is perfect! but its even better now  if this was yourself what would you do? remember i have access to Pharm. grade quality of anything i need. i do methylcoblamin/b12 shots once a week also and as i said before my shot day is monday so on sat and sunday i do 250iu of HCG…

I thinks most people here like to divide their dosage up into two or more shots a week because it gives them less fluctuations in T and E. I have seen the once week injections with HCG used at the end of the week before. I think Dr. Crisler over at all things male made this protocol popular. If it works for you I don’t see a problem with it. You have to remember more is not always better when it comes to TRT. It can be hard to get that idea out of your head. Your just going to run into problems keeping your T levels in the supraphysiological range. Polycythemia generally occurs when hemoglobin is above 18.5 g/dL or hematocrit is above 52%. I personally can tell when my hematocrit starts getting high. My blood pressure goes up. When lying in bed it feel like my hearts having to beat harder than normal. I tend to get flushed in the face. I feel like I can’t breath as easily. I have also read that some people have not symptoms at all until they it gets so high they have a stroke, heart attack, etc. After i donate blood my symptoms go away.
Ideally a reduce in dosage will keep your hemoglobin and hematocrit in range but some still have issues even at dosages of 100mg or less a week.
