Help Designing Second Cycle?

We all need the hard truth sometimes haha.

TBH, I am not really sure as all of my heavy squats I do with wraps. I think I could do above 450 lbs without wraps. I think your 5-10% is about right. It does take a bit of skill to get the most out of them. I don’t think someone can just throw them on and get 10% out of them. I probably would have a bit higher raw squat if I didn’t use wraps as well as all of my heavy squatting practice is with wraps.

Low bar. It feels a lot more natural for me.

It gets harder the stronger you get IMO. I am hoping after this cycle to hit 535, 405 and 600 for SBD with wraps @ about 210 lbs. We well see though as that is pretty optimistic (especially as I am training for recomp not strength).

I believe this. It felt pretty ordinary when i first tried them on.

405 bench is seriously impressive.
Im hoping for 500, 330, 600 after this cycle. I had taken over a year off from gym before starting this cycle 10 weeks ago. Could barely deadlift 220x5 when i started back, pulled 485x4 last week. Went from 207 bw to 240 currently.

Your lifts are a lot more impressive at 210.

It is all relative. A gym buddy that is a bit taller than me (about 6’) and weighs the same does about a 600 lb raw squat, a 430 raw bench and a low 800s raw deadlift. Some people are just really good at strength. Yesterday, I spotted his 15 y/o twig of a brother for a 315 raw squat.

I guess it comes back to what you said earlier, some dont have the potential for strength and ill add, some are just made for it. We’re somewhere in the middle lol.

Over the next few years if i make it to 600 raw low bar squat, 420 bench and 800 deadlift ill be stoked. I plan to do a more strength based blast one day when i have the size i want.

Man I know you dont wanna hear this but u need to cut naturally then gain muscle. It’s hard but if you can go on a calorie deficit and do am PM cardio daily plus weight training and battle hunger you can change your whole world. It gets easier but it never gets easy. I’m on week 7. I haven’t taken one day off. You can do it if I can.
