Hello? Steeler Nation?

2-5. Nice. 4 picks for Big Ben. Well, when your coach doesn’t give a shit about you and starts you when you’ve had 2 concussions in a few months I guess it figures.

But, in light of the “Steelers Baby!” thread after the KC game a few weeks ago, what I really wanted to say is this:

HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!
HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!
HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!
HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!
HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!
HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!
HA!HA!HA!

Having a down year, injuries and breaks catching up w/ the team.

However, the glow of the lombardi trophy can keep them warm during the cold, cold winter!

I don’t know what the fuck they were thinking starting the franchise quarterback a week after his second concussion this year. Absolute insanity.

Yeah. Looks like officials aren’t impressed and/or afraid of Cowher this season. Or they are just tring to make up for the gift Superbowl from last season. Either way, they are fun to watch this year. Mainly because they are assholes and they’re losing. I’m calling Fox and CBS. I want more shots of the Pissburgh fans when the Steelers lose. I enjoy that.

Is a new thread going to happen every game? I thought I was the only one that created worthless threads!

Especially against the worst team in the league.

Why they didn’t they let Batch start and hand off 40 times?

I think Cowher takes the whole tough guy thing too far.

That seems to be the Rooneys plan. Sign good players, pay as little as possible, and run them like dogs. They have been doing that since before Cowher.

I don’t like it. Sometimes it is just downright painfull to watch a guy getting run in to the ground.

I am not a Steelers fan at all but I have to agree. It has been painful to see Big Ben thrown to the wolves this season.

I lost ANY respect that I had for Cowher. In all seriousness now: He didn’t consider Ben Rothlisberger’s future like he should have. The Steerler’s SHOULD HAVE been able to beat Oakland with Batch. Rothlisberger is, what, 23? 24? A baby. He’s got a long time to play. I would not have cared if the Med-Staff said he could play. I wouldn’t have played him. I’d have said, “Ben, We’ve got this one. Take it easy. Heal up. We’ll win this game for you and you can come back and get this team to .500 and we’ll go on a run!”

Nah. Run him out there and let him get a THIRD concussion. That would have been great. Then you’ve got Merrill Hodge all over again. Not what you want with a guy who has 15 more years to play in the NFL.

But it is Cowher football. That’s why he’ll rot in hell.

I agree. You don’t risk the future of your franchise on a regular season game. Stupid decision.

Hack,
I totally agree. The only thing that made more mad was when Cowher started him against JAX, totall bullshit.
