Maverick I read that you run a hedge fund under the ‘what do you do for a living?’ thread. I would like to start and run a hedge fund in the near future. I would appreciate any advice you could give me. In particular could you share your experience on the start up procedure and structure of the fund? Also could you explain generally your relationship to lawyers, accountants, auditors, prime and other brokers and marketers? Do you think it is useful to have an offshore fund to avoid costs and regulations? Any comments would be greatly appreciated.
