Box Squats are def different when you don’t rock and you come to the box as prescribed. There’s no momentum; especially since I am a RAW squatter and I box squat different with respect to minimizing the sit back and wider stance.

Starting to incoporate briefs more in my training to save my hips. My hips are getting demolished through BJJ and so far this has been working. Hopefully, I can find the balance between the raw training and geared training so my raw numbers can increase.
10/21: Carb Backloading has worked wonders in my body composition change. I weighed in at 263 for my military PT test and had a waist of 38.5. Normally, this would have been a waist measurement of at least 46. I will continue doing this…

Thats it for today. Wanted to go up, but decided not to push too hard and leave some in the tank. Besides, I could start feeling the load in my shoulders at 245 and I do not want to add to the list of injuries I already have. Also found out that I have two fractured ankles. The pain, from which I thought was just part of the game turned out to be fractured ankles and I am missing ligaments in my left foot. Will have surgery in December and hopefully, this will resotre my range of motion for squats. It does not hurt to squat, but I have to adjust my technique due to the lack of front ankle range of motion.
