One of my good friends is in the Army and he mentioned to me that he slept with one of his friend’s (who is also in the Army) wife. Not cool by any means. He was expecting me to be like, “awesome dude!” But I just looked at him and shook my head. Pretty disappointing

Seriously, if you can cut off communication with this girl, you will think about her less and less every day until one day it will hit you that you really don’t care anymore. Certain personality types have a harder time forgetting about someone. I know I’m the kind of person who doesn’t quit when things get tough, which has helped me to succeed in other aspects of life. When something’s broken I want to fix it. That’s just the way I’m wired. But with relationships you have to know when enough is enough. Also, if you give people the benefit of the doubt and you’re forgiving, you focus on the good times even if they’re outweighed by the bad times. This will only screw you in the long run.
Well, at least that’s what people have been telling me lately. Like I said, I shouldn’t be giving advice, but since I hijacked I’m telling you what I know. If this girl keeps coming back, I see no harm in keeping her around for a piece of ass. Just don’t fall into the trap. People may say you’re a bastard, but if you know that you treated her right and she fucked things up, do you really owe her anything? I say hell no. If you’re not getting anything out of it, why do you even talk to her?

Universl, you did the right thing by telling her to bugger off. It let her know that you aren’t her personal play thing. I partly agree with scrub on this one as well. She screwed the situation up, and now she is acting like she can just use you as entertainment on the side as if your feeling don’t mean anything. You have to realise that there are good women out there that don’t want to play stupid/selfish games with other people, they are just hard to find. I would advise you to not have any contact with her though. Not even if you are a cold hearted bastard like scrub and can just use a woman for sex (kidding scrub), it sounds like your emotions get out of hand when you have contact with this girl so stay away. Otherwise you will never get the chance to heal up the wounds she inflicted and you will be forever emotionally enslaved. I had a buddy that was in a similiar situation and he ended up being in emotional turmoil for years while this girl took advantage of his feelings to play childish games and see how many hoops he would jump through at the mere implication that she might get back together with him. Poor sap… Anyway, when she dangles the carrot, tell her to stick it up her ass. Losing someone you care about hurts, but wounds heal, even emotioanl ones and the best way to speed up the process is to go out and meet new girls. I don’t advocate a sexual free for all, cheap sex can’t stand up to good old relationship sex most of the time and it will just remind you of what you lost. Just try to meet and get to know as many girls as you can and you will probably meet someone new that will make you wonder what you ever saw in your old girl. Just stop moping around, man up, swallow the pain and stop letting that chic ruin your life. Train hard, and I mean hard, inflict some pain on yourself, physical pain can blunt emotional pain. Training is a valuable tool, use it well. Remember, pain is weakness leaving the body. Being a T-man means having intestinal fortitude, dont let a selfish, manipulative chick drain your strength. Wow, I just found this thread I posted a while back. It’s interesting to see what time can really do. I’m completely over this girl. In fact she tried to come back into my life last summer and I had to shut her down BIG TIME!!
