The place was a madhouse. Hopefully school starting next week will alleviate some of the crowds. A lot of high school kids and college kids with no sense of courtesy.
Edit: Weighed in for the first time in a while: 238.8lb This is the first time my bodyweight has been below 240 in 28 years.
It does have some downsides: 1. My vast wardrobe is looking really baggy, including some businesswear that we invested a lot in (when I just happened to be at my heaviest), and all of my work shirts/trousers (mostly Kohl’s and now defunct Steinmart). I’m punching new holes in my leather work belts. 2.) I have gone from notch 5 in my 10mm weight belt to notch 10. I guess I’ll be drilling new notches soon! Or $70 or so to replace. I guess that will be a reward when I reduce some of the meds I’m taking.

I don’t like lifting 2 days in a row anymore, but with all the back-to-school and other personal chaos going on I felt I had to fit it in. Due to a 'rona positive at home I had to shelter at my brother-in-law’s for a week until everyone at home was in the clear. My car is still at the body shop, surpassing the 8-week mark. They do expect it to be ready on Monday, finally. I had a rental car last week that died on the freeway in morning rush hour traffic (a Ford, duh). It had a sunroof and all the computerized bells and whistles. I think the computer is what killed it. I know - 1st world problems.
I’d just like something to go right for once.

Personal chaos and mid-level drama took a bit of a toll on me today. I knew walking in today was gonna be sucky. Getting bricked by 85% of my max proved that.
Friday morning, I woke up with a stiff and sore left foot. It didn’t get better with the day. Saturday early AM it was even worse. Like - it kept me up the early morning hours and radically interrupted my sleep kind of painful. Today was foot healing day.
