HCG with Sodium Not Bacteriostatic Water

Hi there,

I’m starting with Gonasi, which is HCG over in Europe. It comes with an ampule of dissolvent, which I believe is saline. Anyway, my Doc wanted me to discard it and use Bacteriostatic Water which I cant seem to get hold of. Is there any real difference between the ampule provided in the package vs Bacteriostatic water? I know that it suppose to last longer with the Bacteriostatic, but would a month in the fridge with the amp provided be ok?

From what I understand, the ampule is 1m so when mixed into the HCG, I will be doing 0.1 ml three days a week, 500units per day. (to get to 1500 per week) So i’d want the solution to last a month in the fridge (I think that maths works out ok).

Thank you!!

The difference is between one injection—what you have—and multiple injections over time. The answer to your question is no, one month in the fridge with the amp provided would not be ok in any way. The amp you have will not provide any protection against bacterial growth. None. Zero. And without having benzyl alcohol in the solution you will 100% get bacterial growth within 30 days. If you can’t get bacteriostatic water then you can make your own. Or you can add some BA to your sodium water which will have the same effect. Standard concentration is .9%, but rounding up to 1% won’t hurt.

Where are you borisa?

BAC water is easy to get and cheap off prescription in the UK

Where do you buy it in the UK?

I’m considering HCG and thought.propernsterile amps and back water were hard to come by so haven’t bothered looking at it fully yet.

Dont think we can say on the forum?

Search engine should find you some options quite quickly👍

@beez there’s no rules about talking about clinics and pharma companies. Its UGL steroid sources we can’t discuss. If its a legit medical source you are allowed to post.

Kinda sorta. The issue is more with legal medical use vs illegal and/or recreational use.

We don’t discuss sources regarding running a cycle or a “generous/self-medicated” TRT protocol, whether those sources are UGL or medical. Generally, if the thread is here in T Replacement and not in Pharma, it’s presumed the user and protocol is on the up and up, legal and medically necessary.

It’s a murky grey area, so if folks could just not ask where to get anything ever, it’d be a lot easier. (I’m kidding. But not really.)

I think I managed to find a place in the UK for the Bacteriostatic water! Out of interest though, some people are still saying it wont preserve the HCG as it is designed for single use (freeze each dose being the preferred option). Do you reckon keeping it open for a month in the fridge is safe? One Doc has said yes others no (no surprise really)

It’s fine, I’ve used it mixed with HCG up to 8 wks in the fridge with no issues
