Has anyone had success with using HCG only for TRT? If so, how did you use it and what did think about it?
what were your results?
What kind of HCG did you use? Pharmacy grade or was it UGL (under groud lab)?

I’d be keen to know too
Just been prescribed 1500IU 2x per week for 3 months (im secondary)
Hope you don’t mind me jumping in!
I did. Went to an ND and was prescribed HCG monotherapy starting in 2009. Starting TT was 284 (range 400 - 1080). Was prescribed HCG at, I think, 750iu three times per week. Levels got as high as 684 (241 - 827, note the different reference range), but after about two years my T levels started to drop. They got down to 293 (241 - 827) and the ND wanted to up my dosage to over 1k IU 3x/week.
Because he couldn’t explain the reason for the drop and didn’t want to prescribe T, I decided to find another doc (I was uncomfortable just upping the HCG). I think I made a thread about it back in 2011.
Not like you asked for this info, but…found an endo after that, but the were the typical uninformed doc and said they would prescribe EITHER HCG monotherapy OR T, but not both. I tried to explain it to her, but she was having none of it. Since I still had a script for HCG from my old doc, I went with T injections with the endo and kept doing the HCG (dropping to 250IU 3x/wk). Levels have been steady high-normal since. I also run Adex as needed.
I did 500IU every day with good results, but that was just a bridge to a SERM. The SERM didn’t work well, so I’m now back on HCG. I’m doing 125IU every day. I’ll be testing tomorrow.
The key is to find the smallest dose that will provide adequate T levels, while making sure E2 is in check.
M-W-F schedule seems to work well for HCG. I would start with 250IU for a few weeks and see where you are at.
Just to clarify, you’re all speaking of HCG only treatment, correct?
It’s tough around my way to get a script for HCG so I was thinking about starting my own treatment with a UGL. Anyone have experience with ugl HCG? Would you recommend it?
My t levels have raised and are too high, 450, so I’m being denied treatment. I’m considering starting treatment on my own

Mine tested low, then when retested they came back slightly higher so the doc refused ot put me on treatment. I argued that even if they were slightly higher, I still felt like shit, libido problems etc so made him re-do the blood work. For the few days before the test trained 2x per day, ate high fibre refined crap and didn’t sleep as much. They came back lower and he sussed a prescription out.
International pharmacies have HCG incredibly cheap. It gets stopped by customs on a pretty regular basis, but they always mark is as for personal use/under $150 and send it on its way. I had a script for it and never used it. Way too expensive here, even after insurance.
How do you know what is a ugl and what is pharma. Many ugl look like pharma
