Has anyone used a cutting mix before?

Currently 8wk in a 500mg test e only cycle (40m), I keep seeing a number of people mention it’s silly to do a cycle then pct only to hit another cycle again, (my main reason for wanting to hit pct after around 16wk was so I can plan to meet up with long overdue friends (2 separate folks I need to catch up with so it’s gonna be 2 5-6 drink sessions i imagine) who only “drink” as a hobby annoyingly and didnt really want to drink while on a cycle…),

but I’d really like to run one of these cutting mixes that I keep seeing for sale, these “cutting mixes” as they are labelled are made up of:

Drostanolone Enanthate 100mg Trenbolone Enanthate 100mg Testosterone Enanthate 100mg

Sounds fascinating tbh but I’ve never ran anything but Test, I was thinking of running another cycle after pct of 300mg/wk mon/thurs pins, anyone have any advice for them or have used before that can give me some idea of them? Or just general ideas of, do I continue the pct/give it a few weeks before trying the mix or just balls to the wall add it to the end of this test cycle and do a full pct at the end of it?

I won’t discuss whether to do PCT between cycles, but I will ask: “Don’t you plan to do a cycle shortly after the cycle that you finish, only to do another cycle after that, and so on, and so on?”

Let me tell you what I did. PCT wasn’t well understood when I was doing 3 cycles a year for nearly three decades. I did take HCG and rarely clomid after HCG, when I knew about it and if I had any.

I would say that at least half of the cycles I ran were not followed with PCT.

Let me call them cutting stacks, instead of mixes. All a cutting stack is a combination of AAS that do not cause water retention. I only used what I call a “dry” stack the last half of a cycle that ended with a Bodybuilding contest.

I started all my cycles with what I call “wet” stacks, because it didn’t matter if I had a slight water bloat. And typically the “wet” AAS produces better gains. Tren is the notable exception as it is good for gains while being a “dry” AAS. While I was competing in Masters contests (over 40), I discovered Parabolin (Tren E) and ran it 6 weeks out from the contest.

Thats certainly a good definition between the two thanks! See on a cut I’d imagine you’d need to be in a typical calorie deficit but the number of posts I’ve seen here mentioning most cycles you need to eat more to fuel the whole thing.. so would you (or have you in your previous cycles) run in a deficit or maintanence and let the aas do whatever its doing?

What do you think about my situation of needing to meet up with friends for drinks etc? Didn’t really wanna do it while on a cycle even if its a one or two time a year thing etc

I suppose that I have run upward, around 80 AAS cycles. The first Bodybuilding contest that I did, I entered it without taking AAS. Thereafter, I never entered a contest without using AAS. (exception: I entered two drug tested shows when I was 39 years old. Entrants had to be drug free for at least a year before the contest)

Every contest I was in a calorie deficit. I was doing about 3 shows every year. Usually at least one of them was a tuneup for a bigger show. Most contests were held during the late spring through November. That gave me one solid cycle for building muscle on what most people call a clean bulk.

Most people would say that I have good genetics for adding muscle, so what worked for me might not work for many others. I always liked to have obvious muscle group separation, thus never allowed myself to get a “fat” look. I always had a “beach ready” physique.

For the first 10, or so, years that I cycled AAS my strength steadily increased. I was always stronger at the start of a cycle than I was at the start of the previous cycle.

I would never support taking alcohol with AAS, apart from maybe an occasional social drink. Example: If I went clubbing with my friends, I would “nurse” a single long neck lager beer the couple hours was in the club. I used oral AAS and I didn’t need any more stress on my liver. Plus, whether it is a cause or just coincidental correlation, but when I tightly restricted alcohol, I started becoming very successful in the Bodybuilding contests.
