sigh I wish. People basically mod their XBoxes and then cheat on Live. If you are good about reporting them, they can be caught. Bungie keeps a ridiculous amount of info on every game played, so if someone is blatant cheating, they are pretty easy to catch… and get an instant and lifetime ban. But why people do it in the first place is beyond me.
I have seen people moving 15X faster than the other players, jumping 10X higher and taking Warthogs (which are like jeeps) and flying them around on the board. Kind f-ed up and ruins the gaming experience for everyone on there just trying to have fun.

You can’t change the game that is on the disc, but people found a way to exploit the fact that Halo 2 on Xbox Live uses downloaded content (ie: maps, patches). All of the modding is done to saved games, downloaded maps, or whatever stored on the hard drive. They mess with a lot of the settings and any game with a modder is essentially a write-off. They get banned within a day (or at least they’re supposed to), but lots of people use the free trial cards to start new accounts.
If you want in on the clan, just send me (Molofy) a message on Live. We’ll have to figure out who should be given overlord or staff status, because we should make the clan available, but not so available that some troll gets status and starts booting people or allowing tons of their friends in. Should be fun!
