Surely they can’t do that. The most yuppified gym I’ve ever been in (the cafe/massage therapy, etc type. My father has a membership because it’s close to his home) STILL had dumbbells going up to 120. There’s just no excuse. Also, if 24 hour fitness still has them, they can’t be THAT intimidating to new members.
Maybe get some of the members to circulate a petition. Maybe seeing the names in one place on paper could help persuade him and save the bells. Didn’t read the whole thread yet, just had to comment.
