Why is this world fucked up? because we live in an age where every little shitty human act is instantly communicated with the mass? Nasty/disgusting/terrible things have been happening since the big bang, its just that we now have the ability to communicate these things whenever they happen.Thats the way i feel about it, i mean, rape is a terrible thing but just take a wild guess as to how long that has been going on, for-fucking-ever. Don’t get me wrong, this guy is a sick puppy, its just that the world has always contained these types, its nothing new.
Ok, you win, this world isn’t so fucked up. Now bring that child over here and let me throw up on it.

Somebody should have been proactive and clinched his left thumb as hard as possible.

That way, his gag reflex would have been inhibited and the girl could have enjoyed the game as normal.
Ha Nice!

Philly?

Isn’t that where Gillie da Kid be at? Gillie king of Phillie.

Why, Momma? Just curious.

I’m not a fan, either.
I got robbed in Philly. Someone jacked my 1973 Telecaster bass out of my car. It was parked near the North Star Bar. Yeah, it’s insured, but c’mon, it’s irreplaceable. I sold my soul to the devil for that instrument, and I haven’t played the same since.

I hate Philadelphia.

Not to be a dick, Momma, but why on earth did you leave a vintage instrument in your car, of all places near the North Star Bar? That whole area is a shit-hole.

Hey, I’m used to shitholes, spent most of my life in dives and I’ve lived in “bad neighborhoods” and never got robbed. My house got broken into only once, and they took some jewelry and cash, but left my gear alone.

Somebody followed me and saw me lock my bass in the trunk. Shouldn’t have gone back for another beer, I guess.

Same here (shit-hole life). I’ve been house robbed 2x in a 24 hour period once, and my van was broken into and robbed 2x in a decade. All incidents in Philly.

The first time my van got robbed, I was heading to a party on Walnut St. I parked in a lot a block away, but would be able to see it from the party (5th floor window). Right after I parked, I debated “Should I leave my bass in the van, or bring it just in case an impromptu jam session starts at the party?” I chose to bring it with me. A wise choice. After the party I returned to find the van door still open and broken, and my switchblade, toolbox, cash, and speakers were stolen. I thanked God I had the bass with me. I recall feeling like I would have cried if it had been stolen as well ('78 P bass).

Good call, ID. I’m not known for my wise choices, though.

Honestly, though… locking it in the trunk and out of sight does seem sensible.
