I understand, although think it’s total BS, the no guns on campus rules. I think it’s an extension of how we have sadly allowed the idea that others are responsible for our safety and freedom to infiltrate a large enough portion of the population to make these rules stick. That said, why can’t this kid have a gun in his apartment? Just because the university own it? He does pay rent, correct? How can the 2nd amendment be so clearly breeched?

…can’t have any guns on campus or off campus housing because we want everyone one to be “SAFE”. fuck gonzaga’s administration and their inability to grasp the facts of this specific situation.
they will suspend or expel the two seniors for successfully defending their selves and who could have easily been murdered by the six time felon who just got out of jail.
