Nah, I can’t run from this plague. Plus PA is too hillbilly for me.

Although I like that bar Tink’s in Scranton, I like being a half hour from the city… I wouldn’t trade that for any dumb guinea in the world.

Not to mention I’ve always been pissed that they had the motto “America Starts here.”

For what it’s worth, these guys aren’t in Texas.
Or at least the ones in Texas aren’t Italian. They’re Mexican, and they don’t smell like marianara sauce.

And they’re usually smaller than that.
And they don’t dress quite as well.

In defense of Pa, the Jersey silliness helped to inspire that now gone slogan. Some of the immigrants from Jersey along the lines of the guidos didn’t help things.

I have a buddy who lives in Mendham , New Jersey, Rob Mason. He’s a level three ART guy also and we get together a few times a year and eat food and treat all our busted up stuff. We’ve taken seminars in the Lodi area, NYC, Newark, and some other places.

But his town of Mendham doesn’t seem guido at all to me. Normal people doing normal things. he’s 45 minutes or so from NYC and about ten minutes from Morristown. Maybe we can lure all these guys into some big hair gel convention and make the world a better place, hahaha!

Growing up Pa always had some antagonism to NJ. I don’t know quite why, maybe it is to do with the rural nature of a lot of the state. I think we have the highest small town population in the country or something like that.

I would also warn you to stay away from Philly. We like to call it Jersey east. they exist in droves there.

I grew up near where i now live and I like the rural stuff. I’m only 3 hours from NYC, DC, Annapolis, and under three to Philly. I’m close enough tyo get tot he city whenever I like, but not so close that I have to deal with city crap day to day.

And even though we have a big ethnic population of Italians, Irish, Polish, and German here. we don’t have guidos. Thank God.
Our Italians are fairly normal without any of the stereotypical nonsense.

Lol,Your comparing the Cholo to Guidos? Thats like trying to pick Leeches to Maggots. Both Disgusting but in abundance but not really the same thing. Not sure where your at,Buddy but here in Houston I rather trade off with the Jerseys Guys. Atleast the Guidos are non-threatening and dont lower the property value down. I live in Toronto and it is FULL of these guys, even though they go by ‘Ginos’ here. Basicly, they are what everybody says they are, except in Toronto for some reason… girls love these dudes. I don’t know why or how, but they do and it makes me fear for humanity.

It’s sad to note that, when looking at Italians in history, the Romans created some of the most incredible architecture in history. During the Renaissance, the Italians dominated the arts and set the standard for centuries to come, while the Tuscans have given us gourmet dishes. With all that impressive Italian history, how the fuck did it get distilled down to Guido fashion and attitude? It’s like evolution in reverse. lol
