A few points. For starters, anybody can see that different races exist. Racial differences are certainly more than “skin deep”, encompassing skeletal structure and muscle type. It remains to be seen if there are differences in thought process and brain function, but since even discussing racial differences is taboo, it may be a while yet before the scientific community figures it out.
Secondly, it doesn’t take sneaky, malevolent white people to come up with the concept of race. Many other cultures have a racial hierarchy of some form or another, and racial differences are discussed in some of the world’s earliest literature.
Thirdly, master status? What does that even mean? What they’re calling white priviledge these days? It’s no different than the blatant preferences that other races in North America display towards one another. Minority communities and businesses always help each other out, often to the exclusion of others. It’s perfectly natural, but when whites do it, and because we were here first and have developed a better infrastructure, or do a better job of it, it’s bad.

Yeah Marcanthony, you got me. I came here to ask about what race I looked like for attention. Seriously, how you could arrive at that conclusion is beyond me. We’re on a fucking website about working out where a whole section of the forum is reserved for posting picture of yourself flexing, and I make a simple thread asking what part of europe I look like im from, and I’m an attention whore? Please. Think before you type next time. I’m a pretty nice guy and I don’t like being a dick to people, but honestly, some people just blow my mind.
Anyways, buffaloherder (I think that was your name? =P) it makes sense we might not look a lot alike. For one, my mothers side of the family was actually in Austria, but claim to be german. Not only that, but I got a good chunk of french in me, as well as some scotch and Irish, and of course, like I said, that little bit of cherokee sprinkled in there. You’re probably pure german/polish, (which are right next to eachother anyways). Makes sense if you think about it. Plus, Germans charactoristics vary… some have brown eyes and ahir, some have blonde hair and very blue eyes. Just kind of depends.
And for the last poster (sorry, forgot your name) no i’m not insecure at all. I just don’t know exactly what the different european races tend to look like, so I decided to see what other people thought about it. Plus, like I said, i’m still in the middle of trying to figure out all my heritage and stuff, so maybe someone seeing a charactoristsic of a certain group on me could point me in a direction to start searching.

We can’t all be the same race without having some differences? You really think that if it weren’t for “taboos”, it would be uncovered that there are several species of human?
Agreed, it doesn’t take sneaky, malevolent white people to come up with the concept that people who look different from us are a different “race” and therefore, not quite human. It does take an insecure “master-class” to try and justify their abuse and exploitation of other people (not that I think that’s what goes on now, just that the concepts are left over from slaving days)
Master-status is an exaggeration, to be sure, but the incidence of minorities helping each other out is much less institutionalized, and doesn’t end up affecting white people as a whole, the way it does when white people do it. Pretty much any business would have a hard time surviving without dealing with white people, because that’s where most people and most of the money are.
And for the record, killing everyone who gets somewhere before you doesn’t constitute getting there first, and dragging people into your country doesn’t constitute having a better infrastucture, it’s that white people control the only infrastructure.

I’ll give you the fact that when we talk about biological “race” I am human. No shit. But theres some alternate definations for race, such as:
A local geographic or global human population distinguished as a more or less distinct group by genetically transmitted physical characteristics.
A group of people united or classified together on the basis of common history, nationality, or geographic distribution: the German race.
And yeah “Jacross”, nice insult with the “fuckwit”. You really got me on that one “BRO”. I think I abandoned that one in middle school. Oh well, I can’t expect much from a person who plays sports a profession.

Personally I think it was a stupid idea to start this thread, however if it was really because you are interested in discovering more about your heritage, then I applaud your interest. But finding out what you look like is not going to get you anywhere.
First start by creating a family tree, ask parents and relatives for names and dates of births/deaths. Someone in your family may already have one. Then ask around your local library for resources and check some anthropology websites for guidance (not a body building one).
If you do this, I gaurantee you will learn a lot about your family (living and past) and heritage. Good luck.
As for the Cherokee appearance- I don’t see any Native American but as a friend of mine that is part Inuit told me, “in a room full of Inuit people he won’t stand out, I would”.
