Green Tea Fans

I’ve actually been wondering that myself.

I had a friend send me some coca tea from Bolivia.

It is made from the same leaves as cocaine.
I was pleasantly surprised on its effect on strength.
If green tea is the amphetamine of tea land cocaine tea is the steroid.

It has a similar effect on the heart and it makes you experience strength as opposed to CNS stimulation.

I highly recommend it. Specially for men.

I cant imagine him spending all this time on this board. Pilon must be Headhunter’s idol

The legality of purchasing coca tea in the US is unclear. How difficult is it to get the tea, since supposedly no legal distinction is made between it and the nose candy?

It is legal in Bolivia. It is not cocaine, since the nose candy goes through a chemical change in processing. This is the leaf of the coca plant, the natural ingredient of cocaine.
If you have a Latin friend it is easy. Latin friend calls mum in Latin America and they pack it discreetly and send it to you with joy - such is the Latino solidarity. Another option is finding a South American shop in your city and ask if they stock it. If not you can still ask if their mum would send special order for you. Many would oblige if you are friendly.
My friend asked her mum on my behalf and that was how I obtained it.

Since you inquired I googled the brand I got and found this link:

The brand I got is Windsor Mate. From the hansa dot com dot bo ( click on ‘Productos’, clickon ‘Tes y Mates’, click on ‘Mates’ - it is not under ‘te’ which is the translation for tea )

I have also come across other Peruvian sites in English and price in dollars and they ship to the US but advise you to check the laws in your country. I am certain if you email them and ask to send in the coca tea in a package of ‘Green Tea’ to avoid border issues they will oblige as South Americans unite and are quite happy to ‘dodge’ the government when they get in our way.

The tea had an immediate effect on my heart as it made it beat strong. It was quite bizarre because I felt no CNS effects only cardiovascular. It is supposed to aid oxygenation of the organism ( the human system = body ) as well as digestion and a diuretic.
The effect was very mild but gave me a nice strong and steady heartbeat. That is why I compared it to steroids.
I saw a documentary from Bolivia and it is traditionally used by the locals to give them strength for their hard days of labor in their farming communities. Though they also chew the leaf which is allegedly even better. I will ask my friend to get me some and will report back if I try.

LOL! You are insatiable!.. : D

Don’t know you would experience the effect since it is mild but I can send you some if you wish.
Just PM your address again.
It would not be a bad idea if you and/or Biotest could research the extract and use the herb as a natural strength support.

I love green tea. I train at 5 am so before hitting the gym I eat a banana and take a big cup of green tea.

I hope you are consuming at least 30G of whey protein also. I suspect not though from your avatar. Since you are flexing your arm, I have to assume you have some interest in putting on muscle. If that is the case, then please get some protein in you before your 5am workout, lol.

That was meant as friendly input BTW.

Im not interested in bodybuilding, I just train for fitness, anyway I think you are right, I need some protein before working out.

Cheers mate!

Bushido,
I read some where that coffee was good for the liver, even more so after a night of drinking. Do you think coffee may be better then green tea if you keep it black?

I don’t know about ‘better’, but yes, coffee appears to contain some anti-oxidants or polyphenols, that seem to protect the liver. I would go for a de-caf though, if drinking more than say 2 cups per day.

I bloody hate coffee though :frowning:

That’s what I used to think, until you start drinking the desert flavored ones with women. By time they’re done with them they’ll taste like an Oreo Xtravaganza blizzard, with an energy kick.

Lol maybe, but about 250 cals of sugar, no?

She should help you work it off…

I usually drink mine with a little milk and maybe 3 packs of sugar. What’s a pack of sugar 10,15 grams of fructose?

The bonus is with coffee you get used to the taste real quick after a month a two you will need less sugar. I hated coffee, never had a drink until I hit 28 and then only after hangovers.

Did anybody find out the law on coco tea?

I take (4) 500mg green tea caps in the morning that have 98% polyphenols in them. I haven’t noticed anything but a nice kick in the pants and those pants are a bit looser.

BCAA tabs were recommended to me by Chris Shugart, prior to AM body comp workouts.

Look at the Complexes thread for help there.

Found this in there:

“A recent study looked at the effects of short term green tea consumption on a group of students between the ages of 19- 37. Participants were asked not to alter their diet and to drink 4 cups of green tea per day for 14 days. The results showed that short term consumption of commercial green tea reduces systolic and diastolic BP, fasting total cholesterol, %body fat and body weight. These results suggest a role for green tea in decreasing established potential cardiovascular risk factors. This study also suggests that reductions may be more pronounced in the overweight population where a significant proportion are obese and have a high risk of cardiovascular disease. [9]”

Like all things, moderation (except for money, of course

It makes you live longer…

good enough for me.

Personally I would cut that to 2 caps at the most, due to the possible toxicity issues.

I used to do the exact same thing as you - 4 x 500mg caps (home made), with >95% polyphenols. I stopped that though, after reading the research.

Just my opinion though. You obviously take pains with your hydration (lol) and I don’t think you run much in the way of ‘liver stressors’ so I hope you’ll be fine.

Yes sir, I make sure I drink PLENTY-O-WATER lol

but I read the articles as well and am gonna cut back to 3 caps and then 2. Thanks for brining it up man! ttyl
