Gran Torino on DVD

Gran Torino was pretty much the best movie I had seen in a long, long time. The story and they way it was told kept me pretty attached to all the characters throughout the film. If you haven’t seen it yet do yourself a favor and pick it up.

I love this Damn movie.

Nothing like sitting in a southern movie theater with like 300 other white people and one black couple, located directly in front of you to make it weird though. Luckily about 10 minutes in they started laughing too.

Yeah man. I kept my composure pretty well until Eastwood starting firing out those “fishhead” remarks, at which point I broke down laughing. How are you supposed to keep it together in a situation like that?!

“We used to stack fucks like you five feet high in Korea, use ya for sandbags”

Do not rent “Paint your wagon”. I don’t think ol’ Clint’s too proud of that one. Just sayin’.

Why was your yankee ass in a southern theater?

…ahhhaha, that’s not me at all.

“I don’t have a job, a car, or a girlfriend.”

“Yeah, maybe so. But now OK, I want you to turn around, go outside, and come back, and don’t talk about having no job, no car, no girlfriend, no future, no dick, OK? Just turn around and go!”
