You think after reading that T is in mg not ml in a dozen other posts I would have connected the dots by now.haha I’ve got a bunch of questions and concerns written down to ask him this week. Yeah, I’m a mess right now, about the same as before TRT. It’s really hard to read how easy this might be if he’d just take his self out of his norm. Once again thanks for all the help, I’m getting there slowly but surely.
Hey guys, got some more questions. Last month I felt as if my face was flushed all the time with alot of head pressure(like high BP). Went to give blood an my hemoglobin was at 17, she said that was high and not taken it at 18 before. Felt a lot better the next day.
I’ve started taking liquid arimidex 1mg a week EOD. Between taking my T M/W/F and dropping it down 100mg a week made a big difference in the way I felt for awhile. I started taking my arimidex approx. two weeks and have had no loss of libido but bad joint pains and muscle soreness with little to no energy. So is it possible E2 to low with no loss of morning wood?
Can there be anything else to consider that might be out of whack? My UR wants to see me next month and I’ll try to get the lab work per sticky. I’ve read so many post on this and getting confused on cortisol, DHEA and others but with no labs I know I’m shooting in the dark, but maybe some else has been though this.
Thanks again for any info.
DHEA-S, not DHEA
If E2 goes too low, some will get joint pain. This is not consistent with your maintained libido and morning wood. So no simple answer. Started any other drugs? Statins for cholesterol?
If E2 goes to low, mood or depression like symptoms are often reported and low energy.
High hematocrit can cause pains from impaired circulation. And that could cause injury and lingering pains.
Take aspirin to improve blood flow! Fish oil and vit-D to help with BP. Anti oxidants to help with inflammation.
Try a break from the adex then reintroduce later. Note improvements/regression.

http://www.google.com/search?q=site:tnation.T-Nation.com+"anastrozole+over-responder"
I have not been taking any other meds or supplements.
Thanks for the search tip! I’ve been searching using T-Nations search and Googles, but having to weed through a lot of info from sites I don’t have much confidence in.
After reading the symptoms of low estradiol I felt the joint pain the worst but my mood, energy felt fine. But a couple of days after my last post I started to notice my libido seemed lower, no morning wood. So I stopped taking my anastrozole and started feeling my libido come back and knees felt a lot better. I then started back on my anastrozole at .07mg EOD instead of .33mg EOD, thinking I might be an over responder.
Now I feel fat and bloated hot flashes at night and noticed more acne. My weight fluctuates as much as 10lbs in one day. So I’m not going to add or take away anything till I get my anastozole dose right, then I’ll move on to the next thing. We’ll see how it gos from there?
I was also wondering if someone like me who has been estrogen dominate their whole adult life, hard bean sized knots under my nipples at puberty, and love handles with fat at my belly and chest most of my adult life even with having a very athletic life style, could have some symptoms of low estradiol while still not reaching my sweet spot due to my body being use to working with high estrogen levels?
I remember reading were it takes awhile for your body to simulate to these changes. Just think out loud.
Once again thanks for the help.
“Weight changes by #10 in a day”: Please weigh yourself a few times when you have not had any input/output. If there are changes, your scales are wrong.
You need to be on a steady protocol then test E2, then we can go from there. You can get a good reading after two weeks for a course correction.
I do not see that you have recorded waking body temps? This is important, as it is a measure of how your body is functioning.
I know that the weight thing sounds unlikely but I weigh myself in the mornings and in one 24hr period I went from 300lbs to 310lbs. That’s not a consistent gain, but it’s not uncommon for a 5lbs fluctuation day to day for me. I’ve weighed myself with my scales at home and at my local hospitals workout center (I compare home to home and work to work). Also I’m a firefighter and we go from hydrated to dehydrated very quick some days. It’s crazy. Actually it’s frustrating, but I feel better than before thanks to this site and people like yourself.
I will stay on this protocol until next months test and see were to go from there. I’ll also get those waking temps.
I know it must get frustrating telling the same thing over and over. With most things asked being in the stickys or other post. But once again thanks, and I’ll try to keep up with my reading.
Firefighter: Are you wearing fire retardant clothing in direct contact with your skin for long periods of times?
Concern is antimony or bromides.
