Got My Blood Work Done

I am a 21 years old male, I suffer from lack of libido and erection.

Here are the values

FSH IU/L (1.5 - 12.4) 1.5
LH IU/L (0.5 - 10) 3.1
Prolactin ug/L (4.1 - 18.4) 12.8
Bioavailable testosterone nmol/L (2.14 - 13.6) 6.945
DHEA-S umol/L (5.73 - 13.4) 8.5
Hormone de stim. thyroidien mIU/L (0.27 - 4.2) 1.90
Créatine kinase (CPK) U/L (20 - 200) 902

That’s the only value I have for hormones. I really don’t know anything about that stuff.

Any thoughts?

Do you have your E2 level?

No, the doctor didn’t want to test that. Apparently from those results everything is ok, still I can’t have an erection and I don’t have any libido. I have also results under the name of hematology and biochemistry.

Well, the FSH level isn’t very good, bio-T could stand to be a lot more (especially at your age!). E2 is an issue, not because I’d be concerned about too much (as I think your doc might be), but because I know from experience too little can make things run poorly below the belt.

I think he really needs to check that and with an ultra sensitive array, not the crude one used for women.

My 2 cents.

Just came across this

with 200,31 ng/dl 95% of the 55-59 years old mens have more test then me. And they don’t even train and eat well while I devote my life to this. Is this a reliable source?

What is wrong with me?

Prolactin ug/L (4.1 - 18.4) 12.8
This is the hormone that makes women lactate when they are pregnant and breastfeeding.
In males (we have a very small amount) it is released after orgasm, and is the substance that causes the
refractory period, you know, the time after you have an orgasm that you cannot get hard again and just want
your lady to turn into a pizza.
At 12.8 yours is in range, but it is on the higher side, most of the time it is caused by a tumor called a prolactinoma. Most men that develop these lose interest in sex, have low libido and low T (all side effects of high prolactin) any of that sound familiar ? But, don’t freak out, it is treatable by pills and if you search prolactinoma in the box above you can find lots of information about it. Here is a link too UpToDate
Above all, talk to your Doctor about it.

I don’t get hard at all. I am attracted to women but something is definitely missing. I can ejaculate, without an orgasm (just a genital release), but my refractory period is a disaster. I decided to stop ejaculating because of it. Maybe the reason prolactin isn’t that high is because I havent ejaculated in more than a month and because I don’t plan to ever do it again.

I don’t have any interest in sex, never ever really had interest. I currently have a girlfriend, only because I felt I should and because she is great.

I am seeing an urologist in a week. I don’t have high hopes, but I will sure talk to him about this. Thanks for the input.
