**Health conditions, ** As far as ‘‘diagnosed’’ conditions , i’ve been only diagnosed with Asthma and ‘IBS’

symptoms& History - Long story short symptoms started in my mid teens. All Low t associated symptoms, thyroid and hormonal imbalances. I’ve been consulting with multiple endos/gps over the years with no success on improving my condition.

Below i will attach my bloods over the past years.

Fastforward to late 2017 early 2018.
At this point i thought its best to consult a new endo AGAIN. Bloods were ordered and they came low again. T lvls around 9 and i was deficient in Vit D.
started supplementing vit d , omega 3 and some other stuff like probiotics.

I felt a Slight improvment, but still felt like shit during the day or after an hour of work.
If i hit the gym or go for a run my body takes at least 5 days to recover.
Also i changed my diet going for greens + meat only ,saw a big improvement digestive wise.

Had my last consultation this week.
She strongly suggested that im not hypogonadal in any way since my last Blood test showed an increase in T. She said T fluctuates alot so the low T results from before were not concrete.

PS - All tests were done in the morning.

At this point i’m strongly considering taking TRT . Would you recommend?

Typically young men should have their testosterone peak in the high normal ranges in their early 20’s, if your endo’s doesn’t realize this they are failing you. Hematocrit is at the bottom of the ranges because testosterone is at the bottom of the ranges, they are enough red flags that point to an androgen deficiency.

You must understand most endo’s and urologists are brain dead stupid when it comes to diagnosing a testosterone deficiency. You inability to recover quickly from going to the gym is directly related to testosterone. These endo’s degree aren’t worth the paper they’re written on!

You need to arm yourself with studies showing where a young man in his early 20’s are typically scoring to snap your doctors out of the dark ages of medicine! I can tell you right now hormones in medical school isn’t even covered, so it’s no surprise that the doctors are fumbling in the dark.

In reality I think most doctors just tell you you’re normal to get you the heck out of their office, there’s too much stigmata surround TRT in the medical community and most don’t want anything to do with it.

Let me ask you something, if you were a doctor and knew nothing about a particular treatment, would you want to prescribe it and risk your career over some guy who is hypogonadal?

Hey systemlord thanks for da reply.

Well from my experiences they do know about Hormonal replacement, it’s just they don’t give a ****. It’s weird around here, you don’t need a prescription for Birth control pills, but people under 60 can’t do TRT.
Its not like i went in and asked only for a rx. I genuinely want to find the root cause.
Im cornered. I can’t support myself for longer , defo need to get out and work again. So thus im tempted to start TRT ( Solving the symptom) but not the issue. But then again i know sooner or later the issue will arise.

I would focus on you thyroid before TRT, every one of your labs your TSH was elevated. Your ft4 was in range but where is your ft3, and possibly rt3 issue also? I don’t see any tests for it. I would verify your not hypothyroid personally before starting TRT. Wouldn’t be bad idea to also make sure your not gluten intolerant also with your IBS in conjunction with your TSH levels.

Hi rise, thnx for the reply m8.
Yeah i mentioned my Tsh lvls , again no interest what so ever. They say its allright.
Apparently they don’t even have tests for ft3 rt3, i’m looking for clinics atm that do those tests.
I’ll do the thyroid body temp test tomorrow and post them.
PS it’ seems im not gluten intol, did x2 bloods to check. Both came negative, i also did allergens tests like 2 years ago, they test you for multiple foods, again back normal.
I did cut off gluten and dairy from my diet tho, it helped alot with the digestion for sure. Also i don’t feel bloated anymore.

Your reference range is ridiculous, I’m finding it really irritating a testosterone level of 1000ng/DL (what should be a high normal T level) is now considered vastly supraphysiologic. Your ref range is like 150-730, it’s ridiculous!!!

@systemlord I have nothing against doctors but a doctor saying something along the lines of “you don’t have hypogonadism because you have fluctuations in your testosterone levels” that can’t be the norm right? There is no logic behind that theory at all, hypogonadism is merely the presence of low testosterone levels (what is considered low will vary from person to person) with accompanying symptoms of androgen deficiency. If my total testosterone was 250 on one test, 290 on another and 130 on another (these from what I can recall were my three test numbers prior to TRT, the 130 was on a private test so I can’t really count it tho) I wouldn’t say, well shit that’s a fluctuation of over 100 points so I’m not hypogonadal. Or if I looked at my bloods from when I was 13/14 and saw I at one stage had a TT of 1000+ Ng/DL I wouldn’t say “well derp I had a high testosterone level therefore nothing’s wrong with me despite the fact my genitals are as limp and floppy as a spaghetti noodle and I’m tired all the time, can’t concentrate, have periodic hot flushes etc” (this isn’t me now this was me prior to getting help) this statement his endocrinologist said makes no sense. I hypothesize the doctor is just pushing him out of her office because she has bigger fish to fry and/ or doesn’t want to treat him, I can’t believe that a doctor would actually say something like this and believe it. The doctors I know who don’t know about trt or anabolic steroids straight up just say to me “look, this isn’t my speciality, I don’t know about it” in my book if a doctor says this he or she is a good doctor because they are willing to admit if they don’t know something which is very admirable since doctors are among some of the most clever people in the world.

Thyroid should be investigated. Did they run the thyroid anti bodies?
Also am cortisol high. Stress? This can lead to adrenal fatigue.

Thyroid Morning temp test : 96.98 - 97.16

These are the ranges for my lab as well and its stupid. Doc said I was fine at 260. Then once on T my Endo was saying my T was way too high because it was at 1100.

I will say I once got a lab that was 4-25nmol (not joking) my current lab is 7-27 which is still stupid low but better

Sorry…is that 208ng/dl? Are you on TRT?

4nmol is like 100ng/dl, yeah I’ve been on trt since I was 17, I’ve had really shitty luck health wise

Thyroid is a concern and also your GH levels in the first set of labs. That number in our youth should be sky high. Have you suffered any head trauma, concussions, car accidents etc? There is so much evidence as of late that my hormonal deficiencies and many others are the result of TBI or traumatic brain injury which even when mild, ie no loss of consciousness or consciousness can result in disfunction of our pituitary, hypothalamus etc. This leads to problems surrounding issues with T, E, our thyroid, GH, cortisol etc. If anyone is interested, i suggest youtubing Dr Mark Gordon TBI.

@anon10230041 No don’t think they ran any antibodies over last 4years. Cortisol been super high forever. Im fairly stressed as a person, my job requires me to brainstorm , it’s defo something i love doing. So idk if thats correlated.

@unreal24278 You’re right bout those ranges, never rly thought of it like that before

@Hostile will investigate more on thyroid. Yeah i had some blows to the head growing up ,concussions, cuts etc. have read about mark gordon, also saw some podcasts , he did two on the Joe rogan experience. Relating to me tho i dont think it’s coming directly from the pituitary, Don’t know much about GH, will investigate more .

Thanks for the reply peeps ! Appreciate

Dude…Im reading your posts now to catch up. That sounds awful.
