Here is your (non)response - you simply repeat that “it is clear he got it wrong four times”.
Ok, you think he got it wrong four times - but we’re all waiting to hear you explain why. Chop chop.
Hell, I gave you a full explanation of the criminal/AK-47 case - all you have to do is tell me how and where I got it wrong (and Garland himself). You’d love nothing more than to show me up on this - well, let’s hear it.
I wonder what it takes to impress Trump haters? Sure the guy has plenty of problems when it comes to his political knowledge no question. He’s the worst choice that the republicans have made in years. And I want to add that the only person he would ever beat in a fair election is Hillary Clinton.
But…with all of that said taking away his business accomplishments because you don’t like the guy is just low and of course you are (as usual) acting on your emotions.
As I have already schooled you, the market has nothing to do with a man succeeding in business. You claim that if someone doesn’t beat the market then that certain someone didn’t do well. But you are wrong again. How many people would Trump have employed if he stuck the money in the market, or a mutual fund? The man created jobs by going out in the real world and succeeding.
He was a builder who employed thousands of people. But of course you give him no credit because you don’t like him. And you are overly emotional when you don’t like someone they can’t do anything right. My Aunt was like that she died young poor thing …but I digress.
I might also add that Trump did this in one of the most difficult and largest Cities to succeed in. Do you honestly think it is easy to buy and build in NYC?
If you do I have some real estate in Florida I’d like to show you.
Give Trump credit for being a good business man TB you only look small when you don’t.
I’m starting to understand why Push and many others doesn’t come around here anymore. On the one hand we have people like TB and smh who are in their own little worlds NEVER WRONG and always haughty. And on the other hand mostly a shrinking group of decent people to speak with.
Trump didn’t simply inherit cash, he inherited interests in existing companies. He didn’t roll out of bed with a million bucks and a dream after his father died - he took over entire business concerns.
You are either the stupidest person who has ever posted on T Nation or you are purposely being argumentative, which is it?
One more time, you are ranting about what Trump inherited I am not addressing that.
Here is my point: Trump began his stellar business career BEFORE got it? BEFORE his father died. He made millions of dollars BEFORE his father passed. And he started (according to him) with 1 million dollars either given to him or loaned to him by his father.
And that takes talent proven out by the many millions of people WHO HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO DO IT!
You might add that? A real estate matrix I use says average land prices in Manhattan went up by over 6,000% from the early 70s to the present.
If you had the money, you could buy NYC property at the ask randomly on the island and pulled in zillions. You just needed the money to buy in. Trump didn’t have expertise - he had capital. Thanks to his old man.
You’ve got extensive business background, you say? Sure thing.
Zeb decries the worsening of PWI, but in the past two days (and before) we’ve seen:
Zeb lie like crazy - not fudge or hedge a little, but flat out lie. Lie about what he has said, lie about what others have said. Objective dishonesty.
Zeb descend into juvenile, indeed stupid, trash talking with anyone who has a different opinion than him (“butt boy”, and the like).
Zeb make direct personal attacks.
Zeb flat out suck at discussing politics, making incoherent arguments.
Zeb peddle misinformation and, once called on it, refusing to acknowledge he has done so.
There isn’t a single poster here on PWI that has that dismal resume, even when things get heated.
I’m not especially bothered by it - I consider him an anklebiter at this point - but he really is the bottom of the barrel here at PWI these days. Without a doubt the most disrespectful and disengenuous poster we have.
You didn’t make a wager. You offered me something that is going to happen anyway. You tried to fuck me into entering into an adversarial contract at no risk to yourself (though I’m pretty sure none of this occurred to you, oddly).
Anyway, you’re the one babbling about this wager. I continue to not give a shit. So if you come up with some bet you want to make – one that, you know, entails mutual risk, like bets fucking do – go ahead and get at me.
Here are some calculations comparing his performance vs market
Keep in mind we benefit from knowing how well baskets perform and at that time they were being started
