I figured as much. I am at Defy as well actually. I have a follow up with Dr Saya in the 30th. I’m surprised they started us at such different amounts given my shbg was 150+ But they gave you more, but regardless, they are willing to give us what is needed to make us feel normal thankfully.
@ncsugrad2002 He said that a lot of consideration is given to all the numbers and how they correspond. So I am guessing he saw some complications in going any lower for me.

HCG has a tendency to increase E2, and you want that to happen separately from whatever the test does initially. Some guys also just don’t feel good on HCG,

I see…he was worried that I would not aromatase? Is that right? Enough estrogen to get it hight enough. Wants 30 to 40 maybe higher depending on libido. @hardartery

It would be easier to get your T dose dialed in without using the hcg first. Once you’re feeling good then you can add the hcg so you then you know how each effects you separately.
The T alone will get you E up enough.
@dextermorgan Ok…sounds legit to me. You all have way more experience than me. Sounds pretty logical.
This was going to be my post, you beat me to it. I’m never a fan of trying to dial in TRT with other compounds and drugs. I’m all for dialing in and adding other stuff later, that way you know if the HCG is causing problems and can leave the TRT dosing alone.
I see too many guys going in the wrong direction adding months or longer until they find what works.

Sounds good. Nice that you are starting with that dose. I would, however, avoid hCG unless you are actively trying to conceive or concerned with testicular atrophy. A lot of TRT clinics will give this to everyone, as well as other rx like AIs. As you’ve seen, avoid the aromatase inhibitor if at all possible.

Man…waiting the 4 to 5 business days for delivery feels like waiting for Christmas when I was 7!
So still waiting for my supplies and medication, but I got a nice bag from the folks in Tampa and a thank you letter for choosing them for my needs. Made me feel pretty good for an other wise very shitty day. I was thinking of starting a journal and weekly pictures of my body to keep track of the process and my thoughts while dialing this in and my personal journey. I got serotonin and my sublingual vitB from amazon today. Took the first one about noon. Will keep updated on any differences I feel over the next week. Hoping that this turns life around for me. It is a daily struggle to get out of bed and my emotions are a never ending roller coaster and is making daily life pretty much impossible. Even if dialing in is a bad experience getting it figured out, I will take that over my current life in a heartbeat.
