Once again, it’s Florida vs. Ohio State for a national championship. As everyone already knows, the Gator basketball team won the championship last year and the Gator football team won the national championship this year (against your beloved Buckeyes!).
So cheer on the Gators tonight as they go up against Ohio State again for a repeat championship in basketball and the title “Champions of the World!”

Buckeyes are gatah bayt!!! Gators should win the crown again.
If they do, that has to be the best 12 months in all of college sports. Win the men’s basketball title last year, win the BCS Championship this year, and repeat for men’s basketball. If you’re a Gator fan, it’s a good time for you.

Back to back champs and it feels so good. I am a Gator fan here in the heart of buckeye country. Been a Gator fan since I started following college football around the late 80s/ early 90s. For some reason, CBS shows SEC games alot in this area so I got to watch alot of Florida games. And I got to meet Urban Meyer when he coached at my college (Bowling Green). I hear plenty of shit from Buckeyes fans around here.
Oh well, I’ve gotten the last laugh now several times. This game was more of a sure thing than the national title game in football. I was pretty nervous about that one, I never expected such a blowout. Wish I was in Gainesville for the celebration…
