I just realized I changed to compact florescent lights over a year before Al Gore did. Wheres my damn Nobel prize?
This article points out how he even has led lights on his Christmas tree, as if he is the only one. They are the popular light to buy this year. Milwaukee put up some on a tree in a park.

It lists 100 names, but I heard that it was actually a total of 400+. (The source I heard could have been wrong though.)
But here is a petition which, in part, states, “There is no convincing scientific evidence that human release of carbon dioxide, methane, or other greenhouse gasses is causing or will, in the foreseeable future, cause catastrophic heating of the Earth’s atmosphere and disruption of the Earth’s climate.” And was signed by 19,000 scientists so far:
Al gore should go and fuck a manbearpig. I’m super sereal.
Last month he was in Norway, and he came in a private jet plane. He also pollute more than 50 american families, and he earned 160 million dollar on the global warming hype he created. He’s an asshole. Global warming has been blown out of proportions. It’s a natural thing, and there is nothing we can do about it.
Why are the gulf stream going to stop, when it survived the last ice age? By the way, when the vikings came to Greenland, thousand years ago, there was no ice there. I live right with the sea, and they have found 1000 years old graves here, if the searise theory is true, how could people live here then? If he listen to what Al Gore says, this place would be underwater. Maybe the sea people made the graves and the houses? Come on guys, the sea levels aren’t going to rise six meters, it’s just bullshit made by rich people to get even richer.

Thanks Mage, interesting stuff. I think the 400+ thing you’re referring to is the Dec 2007 senate report:

Amazing this isn’t getting coverage on CNN. [/sarcasm]
i was watching a program on the history channel about vikings and they were talking about how in the viking days (~1000 yrs ago) they used to grow wine grapes in england and it is too cold to do so now, and it is like 7 degrees colder now than it was then. Global warming just looks like one of those alarmist theories, does anyone remember the killer bees. In six years there gonna be in my home devouring my bones and all that nonsense. Thats what they were saying like 10 years ago.
Anyways it looks like they were anticipated oil drying up and are trying to sell cars with that bullshit, or we’ll all drown when the sea level rises 50 feet and we all drown, i say lets build a wall around LA and see how it pans out, i for one will be putting up coffee cans filled with diesel set on fire as christmas decorations if we do that. we could use the wall we tear down on the border to help build it and the guys that sneak across to put it up.
thats just a joke so dont get redassed over it.
In my opinion if anything is worth worrying about its the effects of 6 billion of us shits running around and the effect that has on the environment.
