What happened to Bullies picking on people because they had power and were assholes? I miss those days. Not every bully is a closet homosexual or wants to hang out with the nerds but can’t open up.

Some people just like watching others suffer.

P.S.

I watched the show. I’m replying because I resemble the Gay bully.
Wolly, gay isn’t contagious…but Glee is.
If you weren’t a hot chick, I’d e-bully you into the ground. But whateva. Glee is terrible. Men, get your balls back and watch Sons of Anarchy.
I watch Sons of Anarchy and Dexter too, and I’ve seen The Expendables too Wol, that make me cool yet?
That’s just your cover story. 10-15 years down the line, you’ll move back to Cali and marry a guy you met at a Glee Convention. Congratulations, Ink. Don’t send me an invite, though.

Soulja. He’s almost as cranky as me, but with zero charisma. He’ll do just fine. And he loves the west coast.

So he’s almost as cranky as you, but 100% match in all other departments.

Check.

Thanks for the recommendation

Glee stepped their shit up this season.

It’s definitely not a show for a dude like me, but I appreciate how legit the singing and dancing is. Well rehearsed, performed to a T, produced and shot well.

I respect the show because even though the plotlines are hokey and the drama is cheesy, the creators are in on the joke too, and they’re not trying to feed you a line of bullshit. It’s a show for kids, more or less, and it’s produced as if it were a stage play (the girls ALWAYS in cheerleading uniforms, etc). Hell of an innovative concept for TV.

The bullying episode was an important piece of Television, maybe as important than when Cliff Huxtable found the joint in Theo’s textbook. It earmarked a part of modern culture that I had no idea really still existed to the degree that it did.

There’s still a need for singing and dancing on TV, and Glee caught fire in a bottle by filling that need. There aren’t shows like “Solid Gold” or MTV that actually plays videos anymore, but people still want to see that kind of thing. So, hence…

I occasionally catch a bit of the show. I loved when Neil Patrick Harris sang Piano Man.

Brad, are you a journalist for the entertainment industry? That was well-put.

I honestly thought that Glee would never last past half a season. I reasoned that based on “Cop Rock”.
Anyone remember that shit?

Brad FTW!

Up yours, WOL!

Kenny Powers does not approve of Glee. We need more shows like Eastbound and Down on tv. And Glee is very gay.

No. Dolphins are gay:

One of the gayest opening lines to any post ever written on T-Nation.

I’m with Wol on this despite his misguided views on the pancakes vs. waffles debate.

Bump.

I happened upon a youtube clip of this show. It was oddly entertaining. And when did Gwyneth Paltrow get an ass? Think I’ll check it out.

You need to watch Glee with a heavy sense of irony to get it. It is much more than televised musical theater.

I dont know what it is and I dont wanna know

Yeah, I figured since Jane Lynch (think that’s her name) is in it. I like her. I’m ordering Season 1.

I won’t spoil it for you but season one is the best. People focus on the song and dance routines but the characters hold it together. They all pretty much start out as stereotypes, but make unexpected choices. Jane Lynch’s character (Sue Sylvester) especially stands out.

We get it. You all have caught the ghey and love terrible shows. I accept you, but I will never accept this piece of shit show.

This show is garbage why are we still talking about. In the original post I was venting my hatred for a show I had never watched, and since then I’ve had the pleasure of watching 4 full episodes. There is absolutely nothing good about it. It?s a fuckin musical soap for teens.

The Office, 30 Rock, and Parks and Recreation are three of the best shows on tv. Not this one.

Did you watch Role Models? She’s f**kin hilarious in that.

Oh, Glee sucks.
