Kinda agree here.
Simply overpowering her and getting her off the bus: pushing, pulling, dragging, throwing her off the bus… that’s far more acceptable, imo.

The whole point of throwing a punch is to make it land. Is he supposed to tell her to brace herself because a punch is coming?
It’s not a cheap shot because she didn’t walk away from the confrontation. She should have expected it being that she was acting like a piece of trash and was jeopardizing the safety of every passenger.
I have never seen a upper cut in a real fight, only in Tekken! Haha, that was awesome! Hitting women obviously isn’t right, but he was hit and acted accordingly.

Bullshit. A cheap shot is hitting someone when they are not expecting it. She looked back at the guy in orange for 1 second and he capitalized. This was AFTER he was telling her that she was going to jail, not “I’m gonna whoop your ass!” She clearly wasn’t expecting him to punch, she probably should have considering her own actions, but she wasn’t.
Thoughts:
-This looks like it came straight out of a Chappelle’s Show “when keeping it real goes wrong” skit.
-To the people saying he shouldn’t have used that much force, or should have just slapped her and thrown her out the bus, please imagine the same incident with a 130 pound man instead of the woman. Still think the driver should just slap him, or not punch him that hard, just because he’s smaller? I wish I can go up to someone twice my size and punch him, and because I’m smaller, he shouldn’t be able to use all his force.
-The only reason he waited to retaliate was because he had to stop the bus, and ensure the safety of the riders. How about next time you’re on a bus, go and hit the driver, and continue to stand 5 ft away and turn your head, and because you’re “not engaging” anymore, don’t expect to get knocked out. Great logic.
-Women wanted gender equality, and they got it. There is no picking and choosing when they want to act like a man and start an altercation with someone twice their size, and then hide behind the “I’m a woman, treat me like self-entitled princess I think I am.”
