Girl Beats Up Boyfriend on Train

I’m not saying it’s right what she did but a true man would never be in the predicament of fending off an assault by his own woman. Sometimes it’s what you get for being a pussy. At least this way she (hopefully) beat the pussy shit out of him and he’s a better man as a consequence.
Is that because a “true man” would have already beaten her into submission, or because a “true man’s” woman is too busy making him a sandwhich to attack him. Or is a “true man” just a really great sprinter, and would be able to escape prior to fists flying? I don’t care how “true” a man you are, you are not in control of the people surrounding you.

Sorry but what country are you in?

Cause from a guy that is viewed a gorilla with T-Rex arms, if I laid hands on a woman no matter what she did to me in this situation. Cops would be arresting me and I would be demonized all over the net.
I know, I know. You forgot the second paragraph - I’m wondering how he would be handled if he got physical in any way.

People were still surprised at every new hit from her even 5min into the vid, they couldn’t believe a princess could be so violent. Police will probably have to watch this vid several times and sleep on it for it to sink in that it was in fact she who went berserk, not him. Ok, maybe not…

And yes he was pathetic, looked as if he even felt guilty. He subdued and took it, didn’t really know what to do, and I bet it wasn’t the first time something like this happened. He lost control in this relationship a long time ago.

As a guy with a degree and license on the wall, how long would it take for the “true” events to be told?

I would not tolerate it after the first hit, I would bounce period.

But in the real world accusations can be just as damaging for your career than truth.

Bitch is crazy. She did not have a weapon or real threat for his life.

But sure as fuck I am not sitting there and taking it.

He can paste her into the ground at any time, he obviously chooses not to.
I see what you are saying.

So would you say if a guy is getting beat up by his own gf everyone should just stay out of it? Would you prefer it that way?

I kind of agree with the “real man” argument. You actually CAN control the people around you (especially your girlfriend) - It’s called not cheating on her. Having integrity… and respect… and if she was already treating him like that, it’s called dumping her ass. It’s clearly the guy’s fault - for being with her in the first place.

I’m not saying knock her out, if you’re getting that impression.

Clean up your relationship in the first place, or in this already completely f*d up situation, “bounce”.

A fool without any injurys, and without hand cuffs. I’d rather be foolish and free while she’s arrested, than in custody, under arrest because I lacked the discipline to take a few hits from an unarmed woman who served as no serious threat.

If you stand up, your “intimidating” her. If you grab her arms to stop her, your restraining her - possibly leaving marks. Say hi to the smoking gun of “woman abuse”. If you block her punches or kicks, you might leave marks again, and now your “swinging at her”.

It’s not awful advice. It’s advice for the real world, where police officers, and any witnesses are heavily influenced by their preconceptions about you as a man - especially a man on this site. You can give them NOTHING to mistake for agression. NOTHING. You’re kidding yourself if you think they’ll buy that you were just trying to get away, when she tried to block your escape, and you accidentily knocked her to the ground. You’re kidding yourself if you think they’ll buy that those marks on her wrists were because you were stopping her from hitting you. They will assume that you are the agressor, and will interpret anything and everything you do in her favor.

Somebody said they didn’t know why nobody helped the guy? It’s because people fucking hate men. That absent help doesn’t suddenly present itself in court when your trying to explain to a judge conditioned to view men as aggressors, and women as victims that you weren’t the aggressor, while your assailant sits on the witness stand and fucking cries about how awful it was FOR HER.

Never underestimate the power of sexism. It’s real, and it’s serious shit. Dude did the smart thing.

Lol I know you are not saying that not my impression.

It would be a natural response to strike back after being hit.

Agree totally about knowing when someone is fucking crazy and leaving before you are actually in this position.

Control is an illusion, and “not cheating on her” has no bearing on your “control” whatsoever. Where’s it say this wasn’t the first time? Where’s it say he’s got no reason to put up with her shit? There’s not enough information present to pass judgement on the victim as to what degree it’s his fault.

If that was a man beating on a woman, how many people do you suppose would (seriously) say “Bitch wouldn’t get hit if she’d have made him a sandwhich”, or “She should have kept him under control with the tangy zip of miracle whip”.

To some degree you can influence people, but bending your significant other to your will and “controlling” them isn’t what I’d call a great relationship to start with, let alone the idiocy of blaming the victim of either gender for the actions of their attacker based on YOUR expectations of the rewards of what you view as good relationship conduct, and punishment for poor relationship conduct.

Maybe in this case, because she didn’t manage to seriously harm him. But what if she had smashed his face into that metal pillar/pole a little bit away, or caught him in the eye with one of those kicks, or pulled something out of her purse and used it as a weapon. Clearly I could go on with hypotheticals but you should get the point.

Injury is a clear possibility in the first few minutes of this video, he is LUCKY he didn’t get injured, not smart because in hindsight he didn’t.

“What if” has limitless possibilities, each one more entertaining than the last. What if the Kool-Aid man busted through the door and yelled “OH YEAH!!!”, before offering her some refreshments to further fuel her assault.

What’s she LIKELY to pull out of her purse as a weapon? A hair brush? How much force is that little woman going to be able to “smash” his face into the pole with? If he’s been in a relationship with her, he’s a whole lot better informed than you or I to answer these questions, and act accordingly. Life’s a gamble. Gotta play the odds if you wanna win.

You don’t think a hair brush could do some significant damage to a person? I’m not saying he needed to lay her out, but hands in your pockets is just retarded. You’re allowed to put your hands up and defend yourself, not allow her to stomp on the back of your head, etc.

I can’t stand the bitches filming it or the people in the background doing nothing and actually laughing. But then again, what do expect from the east coast.

I remember watching this sometime back. It’s from a show that airs sporadically on ABC called What Would You Do? They basically install hidden cameras and get actors to play out various social scenarios to see what random people would do and if they would intervene. They are kind of mini-social experiments. They’ve done a lot of stuff dealing with numerous social issues. It actually gets pretty addictive watching it all on YouTube or on their website.

In theory you are. That doesn’t mean you really are. How you are supposedly permitted to act, and how those actions will be interpretted by the people outside of your head are two very differnt things.
