Gingrich 2012. Thoughts?

Sell out the base for moderates and independents and your base will stay home. And you know what else I think? Those moderates and independents will pull the lever for Obama, in the end. Hey, it’s just as Mitt told Laura Inghram a few day ago on the radio, the economy is getting better. Obama is delivering! /forehead smack

To you.

He’s actually the only candidate who has polished presentation skills. And he’s very fast on his feet. But I do agree he didn’t handle the releasing of his taxes question very well.

Are you under the delusion that in the early primaries Bill Clinton was popular?

[quote]Mitt will end up like some-kind of generic, made to order, cardboard cut-out, political opponent for Obama to casually knock over on the way to his second term.

That’s interesting. You are claiming that the only republican who can possilby deliver Massachusetts, many swing states and all of the red states would lose easily to Obama…Hey…I’m starting to think you don’t like Romney.

Did he mess with your sister?

Cause if he did I don’t like him now either!!

About the taxes thing.

Romney is a smart man. I think that he and his campaign realize that he has made a misstep or two when it comes to “connecting” with working people ($10,000 bet; understanding pink slips; firing people; “only” $350K speaking fees; corporations are people, etc.).

While some things were taken out of context; some were things that he simply cannot relate to very well so he has made some mistatements.

I’m sure he realizes that his actual returns will add fuel to the fire when people realize how rich he is.

However, I think that it’s better “late than never” with his returns. He needs to get those things out there so they will have less effect later on.

And oh boy…

If people think that he’s bullshitting/hiding income, etc…he’s toast.
