Hey folks. Looking for a whey protein powder that does the job, healthy, no hidden crap, no soy if possible. Also, decently budget friendly. What ya got?

Walk into a nutrition store and ask for “close dated” items. I’ve gotten protein for as low as 5 bucks for a 2lb container because it was about to expire
My Protein Impact Whey. It’s even affordable in China
I’d support the site you’re on when possible
Which job in particular? Workout shake or between meal protein-boost?
Well, kinda both of possible. I make a protein shake in the morning with powder, a banana, tbsp peanut butter, avocado, and unsweetened coconut milk. Then I drink one post workout with just unsweetened coconut milk and powder. Thanks
I’m kicking myself for not having tried this.
I’ve done this at GNC in the past. Haven’t tried it in a while.
I’ve been doing it since I first heard you could do it in 2007/2008
Myprotein, tastes great and is the most affordable protein I’ve found
I like to buy unflavoured whey isolate. No junk in it and can flavour it how I like
There is a lot of junk in it but the relation between quality and price is very good. You need to give up something if you want to go a bit cheap. It’s crazy how the most effective supps (researched) are usually the cheapest but the rest can fluctuate. So I’ve been on the same quest for relatively clean protein at a reasonable price so I have a couple of suggestions ![]()
AlpenPower(Austrian brand I think) - they have some real products, no additives, low carb, and understandable ingredients profile. They are a bit on the expensive side though.
Hanfoo(German brand)- some organic hemp options for around 20 euros/kg
Olmuhle and Fp24 are a similar brands with similar products but I honestly don’t know so well what they have in. In the coming days, I’ll do a little personal investigation and will share the results if somebody is interested
anybody use Musclefeast?
