Getting Biotest Products in UK

Hey guys, just wondering if anyone can help me out here. I have bought several Biotest products over the last few months from T-Nation and have been very satisfied with the quality but on my last order I received a message from Customs with my package informing me that my Surge and Metabolic Drive had been confiscated since they are technically ‘milk products’ or something.

Have any other UK consumers had similar problems? I will continue to buy products such as Flameout and Creatine but does anyone know of any decent Surge-like products that can be obtained in the UK? Thanks for your time guys.

Oh snap that sucks - I haven’t had this but I hope it won’t affect myu orders next year.

Is there a current ban on milk products in the UK or something?

hmm that is very uncool and very random. Just as a sidenote, one time i did order protein from america, it was let through fine, tho a FAT customs charge was tagged on… :frowning:

2 b honest, tryina get stuff is long, you never know what’s going to happen with customs so I generally avoid the issue altogether - I tend to buy at the moment from monster supplements or discount supplements… Both have been very good for me.

I’ve never tried it myself but Universal Nutrition’s Torrent looks ok and is sold by at least one UK based supplement shop that I know of.

Cheers for the replies guys. So rsg, you’ve had no problems getting Surge? Because if there was one supplement I really think would be essential for me (since my recovery capacities aren’t the greatest) it would be Surge. Ordered it with no problems a few months ago… hmmm maybe it’s because it was a particuarly large order?

I dunno, I placed a fairly large order (£120) last month and everything came through fine.

Maybe you were just unlucky with customs this time?

Call customs and heckle the shit out of them. My Metabolic Drive got held up at aussie customs, but they just wanted a declaration of ingredients or something which Biotest was kind enough to provide, so the day later they sent it on to me. Honestly though it’s just ridiculous nowadays what customs are doing. It’s not contraband.
