Hmmm, so your saying computers and memory chips are heavily dependent on oil, yet their purchase cost has dropped significantly the past few years?
There is a huge difference between oil for manufacturing products and oil consumed and burnt up for fuel. Plastics can be recycled practically forever.

Technology gets more efficient, and cheaper.
Yet they are not recycled. It’s cheaper to use virgin materials than it is to recover hazardous waste. And yes, used computers are a hazardous waste.

No one said there were not differences. The fact remains - you depend on petroleum byproducts to post you opposition to the use of petroleum. Can you not see the hypocrisy?
