Why go to a truck stop when it’s easier to ask an idiot like pat on the internet?
He could have simply refuted the points but he instead resorts to insults.

I mean, I don’t believe he says much about child molestation either.
Anyways, science tells us it is an individual human life on its life cycle.
Define human life because that is not the same as human being. Something else Jesus didn’t define for us.
Did you even read Numbers 5? It clearly allows abortion in certain cases. If I professed to others that I followed a book I believed to be the instructions from my God, and someone else pointed out that I wasn’t consistent with it, I would want to know.
I guess when I was a Christian, I took it upon myself to actually read, understand and apply the Bible. I took 1st Peter 3:15 to heart, and believed I should have good reasons for others when they ask me why I believed. The search for answers in the Bible lead to disbelief.
His religious leaders tell him what to believe.
Are you talking about a supernatural curse in which if there is a miscarriage it is the supernatural act of God as punishment?
Brings up Christianity, looks ignorant, runs back to topic.
No, it doesn’t and I am done talking religion. This is not the thread. If you want to start a new thread about religion, go nuts. This is the George Floyd Riots thread.
An individual organism that is human. Being is a fiction we can extend to anyone at will, or not. Certain oppressed people in history, for example.
Don’t forget the thigh part…
Now, can we get back to the riots and talk about religion on a religion thread?
Until he brings it up yet again.
It says if the woman cheated, that the curse WILL cause a miscarriage. I don’t see how a curse causing a miscarriage is much different than an abortion?
Nuance clearly escapes you… let’s move on. Riots!
Because it would be God doing it, through a curse. Supernatural means. An abortion is almost always an elective medical procedure, using medical science that another human performs on another human to deliberately take a human life.
Abortion is a human act, deliberate and Pre-meditated, taking an innocent individual human life already traversing its own individual life cycle. Create the abortion thread an I’ll happily repeat that statement over and over.
Now, back to the topic…
Night 83! You got to love the title of this article.
“Fire set inside Multnomah Building, riot declared in 83rd night of Portland protests”
Um, if a riot is declared, how is it a protest? Doesn’t that make it a riot? Ah, the media at it’s best…
Just another lazy night in Portland:

Human as an adjective or a noun? Here’s the thing, the abortion argument is not a scientific one; it’s a moral one. If you add religion to the mix then it is more of a moral argument as religion is irrational, by definition, and science seeks the rational.
The truth is that Jesus did not forbid abortion just as he didn’t forbid many things. He was not a law giver or authoritarian figure like Moses. He was a teacher. He was a living example for us to try our best and emulate. The reason why Jesus did not forbid slavery, abortion, war, wife beating, etc., was because in a world where people followed his example and his teachings, those things would not exist.
Sure, that is a fair point. IMO, it sure sounds like a method of abortion to get rid of your wife’s love child.
I am also not really a fan of the God can do stuff and it is moral because he is God, but if we copy him then it is immoral logic.
Are we not made in His image?
Also, abortion was not considered murder in the Bible even in cases where it was considered a crime.
When you’re the absolute authority and judge you get to snap your fingers and end the entire universe and that would be good.
After all, in God’s absence, there is no good or evil. Simply fantastical opinions we hold, like the best favorite color, until our entire species perishes in the heat death of the universe anyways.
