It didn’t look like a far-right or conspiracy site based on the main page so I have no reason to question it.
It just doesn’t sound too reassuring and doesn’t inspire confidence in the police.

I won’t argue with that. It certainly isn’t inspiring.
What’s new is saying “be prepared to give up your wallet…” They aren’t telling people simply what to do IF they are being robbed but to pretty much expect and accept that it will happen. And this is with a still intact police force.
Won’t argue with that either.
Part of me thinks the defund and abolish the police movement is a ploy by BLM to encourage white flight. They want to create a community run by women and lgbtq men and women. No patriarchy. No toxic masculinity. And lots of free stuff.
You don’t think there is a good chance that the PD knew exactly what they were doing when they released that bulletin?
Let’s not pretend PDs are not political as well.
Giving a glimpse of the future. Also, crime is up.
It’s a fair move. The folks trying to dismantle them have a PR machine working overtime, I bet more PDs start cranking up their own PR machines to fight back
Who is going to protect them from the straight black male criminals? I don’t think they really thought it through.
Plausible deniability from the chief, brilliant! Haha. Who knows if that’s the truth or not. Probably is, but I wouldn’t bet on it.
What I do know is that PDs should start using their PR machine, and I bet more than a few will.
All this stuff aside, what we do know is that crime is significantly up in Minneapolis and the city council wants to defund and/or abolish the police. It’s not about to get better.
Since gender is fluid, do you think they will raise any straight men? A steady diet of soy and guilt is like a detox for masculinity.
They just want the white people to believe they do.
Isn’t it amazing how what started out as being an issue about black people, specifically poor black people, became a case of addressing the grievances of white people and the bourgeoisie.
As an aside.
Minneapolis has a DAMN good Police Chief, who is trying his best AND is committed to the community. (He was born and raised there, and Loves his home town). He was on “60-minutes”.
He needs to get out of the s*it-show and go somewhere where people act like they have a semblance of some damn common sense.
Well what is going to happen to all the existing straight black men? I don’t think all the black kids in US ghettos are suddenly going to turn gay either. But I do notice in the media nowadays there are a lot of portrayals of gay black men, seems like an agenda of sorts.
It’s Marxism in action.
Those kinds of places are few and far in between nowadays.
My general perception as a local is that most people do like Arradondo. I think people have separated him from Chauvin, and realize he can’t control everything, but that he seems to be doing his best.
Thanks for the local insights, @mnben87.
That is always helpful.
Actually, it is.
I am being nit picky.
That requires and redefinition of the word “racist”, which is why I don’t accept that statement.
