Unless you have not heard - the US FDA has recently approved anastrozole as a generic for Arimidex.
This according to a letter I received today from CVS.

So, does this mean adex will soon no longer be a research chemical, or what?
No - it means that with a doctor’s script you will no longer have to pay $2.00 per pill or whatever your insurance charges you. I was paying approximately $20.00 per month for the brand name. Now my copay will be less than $5.00 per month.
I can beat that. $100 a month was my cost. Glad to see generics available.
awesome…got my first rx today generic…$5…saved me $100 because generics do not have a deductible on my insurance…
from reports of other guys the generic may be little stronger even…
