I think Carnegie had it right, the education system does not work, or work as effectively as it could. What should take 4-6 years to learn is taking people 3x that. I say if someone does not want to be in school they can leave and go to work.

I don’t agree with the OP. People have been fucking stupid for a long time. My parents are 60 and their generation is no more respectable than mine. The baby boomers are the most slothful hippies I’ve ever seen.
