I love the freedom in Fable 2. I wasted no time in slaughtering the entire village that I grew up in. I sprouted horns.
Oh no… I’m having second thoughts about Deadspace. First, I hear that Fable 2 has gotten comparable reviews to DS. Next, I hear the freaking manual smells like pine. I’m really thinking about getting Fable 2 instead.
What do you guys think? FPS, or RPG? I do still have Bad Company (2nd time) and Too Human to finish.
Starwars: KOTOR mmorpg announced…
Man after watching the Hulk again I cant wait to see what they do with Capt. America! BAAAAAA

I vote Fable 2 but I haven’t played Dead Space yet.
Dead Space isn’t an FPS and Fable isn’t really an RPG. Buy them both.

Same here. They are going to have to outdo Blonsky’s “athletic enhancement” scenes.
If they are serious about the movie, the Cap film could be better than the others.

I agree. I thought the scene where human Blonksy was going one on one with the Hulk was the best part of the movie.
I am confident that with the right cast Cap will be everything we hope.

That’s my stance on the issue. However, I’m in no rush to get Dead Space, so I’m going to try to rent it this weekend to make sure I like it. If I still want it then I’ll wait and pick up a used copy of it once they start showing up.
Let’s make a list of games that are worth buying for the PS3. I’ll start it.
Games I would tell others to play at least once:
Assassin’s Creed
Games I like to play myself whether anyone else likes them:
Spiderman 3 (I like swinging around the city)
Games that are coming out later:
God of War III
Games that suck:
Viking (I spit on this game)
Whenever the next Final Fantasy games come out I will be getting them on the PS3, and NOT the 360. I recently heard the 360 version will likely be on multiple discs, but the PS3 version will only need to be on one disc.
Blu-Ray again for the win!
Honestly though, the less disc switching I have to do while playing a game, the better.

I kind of like getting multiple discs. Makes me think I’m in for an epic adventure.

If you didn’t try Heavenly Sword, give it a spin. Lot of cutscenes, but it’s beautifully made. Plus the chick is simply smokin!
And my Screw you all I like it game would be Burnout Paradise.

I think I came on myself alittle bit when I saw this! I told myself that I would never get overly excited about a nother MMO again after Age of Cona(but is really starting to look up) but how can I not? One of the top 3 vedio game developers + the greates frachise of all time = FUCKEN SWEET!
I hope they take all the time they need to make this game and get it right even if that means pushing it back 1 or 2 years. I done care! Just dont fuck this up!
Is that the new KOTOR MMO?!?! I’m at work, can’t get to the link![/quote]
Ah yes, the classic workstation lockdown. Assuming they haven’t locked down the usb ports, you can get lots of apps that run straight from usb stick, including FireFox. If that’s not an option, then there’s always the proxy method as suggested above, or there’s google’s cached pages.
Out of interest, what would you guys say is the best game you’ve ever played? I don’t mean best graphics or best game play specifically, I mean the one that just sticks in your mind and has that “wow” factor that you rarely experience

Metal Gear Solid had some great wow moments. The last fight with Sniper Wolf was one I’ll never forget. But for the new generation I have to say that, God of War I & II have given me many wow moments. Also the ending of Call of Duty 4 gave me goosebumps and still does to this day.
Excited about the new KotoR, but damn man those lightsabers look big as hell.
Just got Fable II, The Orange Box, and Lost Odyssey so my week is gonna be pretty full.
For those of you excited about Gears of War 2, it’s up on the net in the “usual” places for those of you with a modded Xbox. I’ll let yall know how it turns out after I finish downloading it.
Shit man too many good games. Probably going to buy Fable II, Dead Space, Spiderman Web of Shadows, I’m going to be flat broke by the time I graduate.

I hadn’t even heard of this until you mentioned it.
Why are you guys holding back?

Holy shit, new KotOR? For what system? If it’s for the 360, then I’ll finally have to upgrade from my Xbox. I’ve played through the first two at least like 5 times each.
Who’s making it? Because the second one was made by different people and definitely wasn’t as good as the first.
Finally got Far Cry 2. Can’t wait to play it, but I’ve got an anthropology essay to finish. ![]()
