Who remebers this He-Man precursor? Same animation company and same annoying sidekick troll like thingies. Blackstar almost the first African American character to star in a cartoon however the censors of 198(1) killed that real quick.

yea He has a half sword that could be combined with the other half… thing… Damn you got a good memory dude…

Man the covers of most comics should be in a art gallery…

Like 80% of what I read or see I can remember, my piano teacher hated me because I would look at the music 20 mins befor my class and play it perfectly.

We can thank the book the sedection of the innocent for that. Back in the day when comics outsold other forms of orint media. When that book came out the stigma of the comic being for children or shut ins(like me) became the norm.

So people can’t bring themselves to enjoy the art, same thing with bodybuilding in a way some people can’t look at a man’s physique and appreciate it they consider it gay

Found it…

Rom was my Fav comic with Thor a very close 2nd…

I have all most all the issues… in my mom’s basement… uh some where…

What a blast from the past.

Your right on that… The movie “Unbreakable” with Bruce Willis and Samuel L. Jackson really feeds into the stereo type you mentioned…

Well, nobody but us anyway.

It’s funny you mention the 40-Year-Old-Virgin as that’s my favorite movie, but most people say my place looks like it could have been in the movie. I have toys and gadgets all over the place, a big TV with all the video game systems, a drum pad set in my den, etc.

Yeah, but I usually have to warn people before I let them in. I’ll say something like, “Did you like The 40-Year-Old-Virgin?” If they say yes, then we are in good shape. If they say they hated the movie… well I tell them to piss off. As you can imagine, not all the ladies appreciate it.

And has 3 kids and is also a grandmother herself.

TO Kevin1:

Keep posting. Your comic cover posts are the best things I’ve seen on this site since the Big Boobs thread.
