Its what I aim for. I want to change my avatar every week.

Anyway, back to Conan. How much of a graphics card do you need to play it? Conan is the shiznit, but I’ve never played an MMORPG before. I might start with it.

Required
OS: Windows Vista/XP
Processor: 3GHz Pentium IV
RAM: 1GB RAM
Video Card: Shader Model 2.0 and 128MB RAM: NVIDIA GeForce 5800 or ATI 9800

Recommended
Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4 GHz (E6600) or better
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce 7950GX2 or better
RAM: 2GB or more

Im running a 8600gt and have no problems my dad has a 7900 and runs it just fine too. If you get it let me know and you can get on the same server as me my dad and my brother. I can see it now a T-guild for Age of Conan

I have no clue what half that shit means. I’m only computer literate when it comes to porn.

LoL go to you start menue and go to run the type in dxdiag and that will show you what your running

You know what. I’m gonna stick to porn. Watching two girls simultaneously deep throat a dildo never gets too complication. It’s simple and pure.

Seriously though, it looks like I can’t quit play it. How could I upgrade my laptop? Kidnap a Geek Squad member, hold him hostage in a cage, and force him to upgrade my laptop?

at the moment I’m playing Mass Effect for the 360. for anybody that liked the Knights of the Old Republic games, that shit is amazing.

I’ve said before that most of us here are just bodybuilding nerds, myself included.

just look at the avatar.

Laptops are really hard to upgrad you would be better off getting a new computer

I just finished Mass Effect. I thought it was a great game. I loved the KOTOR games as well, although I liked KOTOR I better than KOTOR II.

I’m playing Lost Odyssey now. It’s good, but the load times on that game are killing me. It has an interesting story. Probably too many cutscenes for me though.

LOL You assume I have a job and money LOL

All jokes aside, I guess I’ll just wait.

NOTICE TO COMPUTER NEWBS: The Geek Squad knows NOTHING. They are insanely overpriced, and usually no more knowledgeable than your average teenager.

Seriously. They charge 50 dollars for most three second procedures -_-.

Never use them. Ever. Either find some nerds online to help you DIY or find a nerdy friend to help you out. The Geek Squads is 99% of the time not worth the ridiculously overpriced cost of their help.

I 2nd that

If can you find out what is in your computer, people who might want to play some of the newer games? (via dxdiag or any other method)
We can tell you if it is good enough or not, and what you should buy instead.

or just PM me.

BTW, System Shock 2, very good. Bioshock, also very good. For anyone who didn’t know, Bioshock is the spiritual successor to System Shock 2. They’re supposed to release another Bioshock game in 1 or 2 years.

There has been several documented cases of them stealing stuff off of people’s computers.

Mostly porn and sometimes your photos.

There was also a guy who “went to use the washroom” and set up his cell phone camera to record, and left it there.

yeah KOTOR II was rushed in production and they ended up cutting a lot of important stuff out of the game. It could have been amazing, but it ended up just being a decent RPG.

I played Oblivion for about 90 hours and had to stop because i was forced to sell my 360 so I could buy another computer. I just got another 360 and was thinking about starting it again.

either that or, you know, find a girlfriend.

I liked that network better back when it was ZDTV, though. Anyone remember “The Screen Savers”, or “Call for Help”?[/quote]

Hell yea that was wholesome, chewy, tech goodness…

My friend let me borrow his copy of Oblivion, but I gave up on it quickly when I realized that I was likely going to have to invest too many hours into the game to get anywhere with it. I’m already lamenting the amount of time I’ve put into Lost Odyssey.

…and yeah, I should probably try getting one of those girlfriend thingies too.

Any one interested in Age Of Conan here is a link about the game experience and just starting out. Also all the msg post at the bottom are very positive except from ppl who havent played it

Amazo. If you’ve seen the Justice League Unlimited, this guy ran through JLA like ex lax. Twice. And the second time was even worse. Now I’ve never read a comic that involved him, so I’m just wondering if he’s as bad ass in the comic as he is on tv.

Amazo is a true badass. Created by T. O. Morrow he has the ability to mimic any memeber of the Justice Leagues powers. Since Morrow is his dad he’s related to the Red Tornado, and the cyborg Hourman. I have an old 100pg giant Justice League where he just cockslaps the whole team and leaves them all weakened(seeing aquaman in a fishbowl helmut with water is worth the price of the book), and when Morrison redid the JLA he had an Amazo story. The League is fighting Amazo and Superman looks at him and says “The League is disbanded” and immediatly Amazo loses his powers.

Damn. But then that sounds like he’s more powerful in the show than the comics. Cause in the show, this guy went into space, absorbed a bunch of shit, came back even stronger. Its like he’s the Absorbing Man except he can absorb EVERYTHING. He can absorb Silver Surfer.

If you’re Marvel/DC fan, watch these videos. Edited this.

The show took some liberties they made him look like Marvel’s Super Adaptoid. In fact the JL cartoon made several Marvel references, in the firstr season when they went back in time they showed Nick Fury, superman became the human torch, and they had the invaders, in later seasons they did the defenders, aquaman as submariner, hawkgirl as nighthawk, solomon grundy as the hulk(even calling hawkgirl birdnose), and dr fate as doc strange. On the 90’s Superman cartoon they did a whole Jack Kirby tribute, Dan Turpin was made to look like Kirby, the fourth world was used heavily Darksied Kalaback etc, they again showed fury at Turpin’s funeral; as well as Kirby and Peter Parker. Yes I know nerd I am

Perhaps Marvel’s coolest villian ever the Taskmaster makes an appearence in the Avenger’s Inititive book as the new recruits trainer. The Taskmaster for those not familar is a mercenary with photographic reflexes, everything he sees he can duplicate. Although he can’t duplicate a superpower he can duplicate movews, so he fights like Captain American, can fence like the Black Night, and can shoot an arrow like Hawkeye. He is the man the villians and the government used to train lackeys. Usagent when he replaced Steve Rogers as Captain America and Battlestar was trained by the taskmaster.
by I digress he’s in the book and a mention is made that a contract has been taken out on him, Hank Pym looks at him and goes “you don’t seem worried”
Taskmaster with the coolest line replies
“I’m not Elektra’s dead again, Bullseye works for the governement and I can’t take a hit on myself” Badass

This has to be te biggest cock tease, since the stripper I met at Fantasies last week. The trailer starts off fantastic, I get shivers hearing the Avenger’s referred to in an Arthurian/Fairy Tail way, and then just as I’m brought to the peak of nerd orgasism they fuck it up. Watch it here if you are a massochist

Also looks like there is no reason to watch Smallville anymore. What’s Superman without Lex Luthor?
