That rumor has been long since squashed. Originally they where making a comedy Green Lantern but the higher ups smartened up. As far as that guy playing Flash, what’s he been in? Keep in mind Walley West, Barry Allen, and Jay Garrick are runners their builds would be a runners build. Why are they doing a live action Robotech? The FX would totally suck I mean really bad. On the Robotech front anyone else see The New Robotech film, don’t it was a huge disapointment
I wonder if it’s a lack of big guys trying to act, or Hollywood rejecting them as actors because “Brad Pitt is the sexiest man on the planet” and they need his clones to sell movies? There has to be some dudes out there with good builds that they can get for a Thor role =/

Adam Brody hasn’t been in much. He was on The OC and the only movies I can’t think of that he’s been in are The Ten and In The Land of Women. If Flash is supposed to have a runners build, then I don’t see why this guy couldn’t play him. He’s just a skinny kid. I’d still prefer they get someone else though.
Out of curiosity, why would you think the FX for a Robotech movie would suck? Considering how Transformers looked, I could see Robotech looking as good if not better. I do think Tobey Maguire sucks though.

They did this low budget Gundam movie in early 00’s, and the fx where so bad. I just see a Robotech movie as being
in that same vein where the studios won’t care as much and cut corners

I see where you’re coming from then. I guess it will really depend on what studio puts the movie out, the budget and what FX house they use.

That’s why I get the chills when I think of a Robotech film. Robotech wasn’t as huge as say a Transformers, or even Voltron when I ask people in my age group about it they look at me funny

I know exactly what you’re talking about. I’m always amazed when someone hasn’t heard of something like Robotech or Star Blazers, but they are familiar with Voltron or Transformers. I got similar looks when I would mention the rumors of a Star Blazers movie.

I loved that as a kid. It’s a shame to see that Disney is doing that.
It looks like that Disney has the license for the Star Blazers movie as well. I was excited about the prospect of Star Blazers until I heard Disney was behind it.

At least Disney does things BIG!! Look at PoC and Narnia. The first Narnia wasnt great but it was better than a lot of ppl thought and PoC just got TO big for its self and I think they are just kina learning how to do Live action so there my be some hope
