sort of late but
Played 13h straight yesterday of FFXIII and slept only 2 hours
sort of meh, but it’s the only rpg i have right now.
Couldn’t quite sympathize with the characters, felt it was bland compared to other Final Fantasies.

I thought the same thing! I didn’t even finish the game…I just didn’t care about what was going on…haven’t felt this way about a FF in a while.

I thought it was very faithful to the comic, it’s nice that DC isn’t afraid to be true to the stories I am ok with a little change here and there to help the newbs, but like in the case of Superman Doosmday they went too overboard and ruined a good storyline
I was just looking at prices for the Uncharted bundle(PS3) coming out in November, $499!..gulp…
This will be a tough sell to Santa/wife lol. I almost bought a new one last week on impulse but resisted the urge, I feel like I failed, being fiscally responsible sucks.
I know this isn’t a book thread but I just wanted to mention a novel I’m reading at the moment.
Daemon by Daniel Suarez. It’s about a dead game computer designer who upon his death unleashes a virus that “can’t be stopped”, techno thriller basically but it’s a cool premise imo, I figured the subject matter would be appealing for the folks in this thread.
Have you guys seen this commercial yet?
I don’t have a Playstation, but I recognize most of the characters. Still thought it was a pretty cool concept for a commercial.
Also thought it was funny/interesting that Kratos seems to be the only CGI’d human (I’m like 90% sure it’s CGI and not a real guy. The lighting on him seems weird). As if they couldn’t possibly have found anyone that size to just stand there and nod.
